I'm really liking this! It's always fun to get a non hero perspective and the main characters blend of absorbed knowledge and naive response to the world as he discovers himself is entertaining. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing where this goes as he experiences the world and to see just where it goes with further world building

If you are looking for a story that starts from ground zero and works it's way up this is the story for you. Honestly for anyone looking for a good story give this a read. If you want one that is longer and more established, or if maybe you just read faster than the author can write and want to bounce between two different stories try reading The Runesmith.Any story this author works on seems to be amazing and I can highly recommend it. Give this story a read and I am sure you will agree. Now that I'm done gushing about how amazing this story is I do have one small problem and honestly it's nothing the author can do about it.I listen to this while I'm working or driving and that is just a personal preference. Where the problem lies is when Rusty's stats or skills are mentioned. While reading the status screen everything is amazing and a quick and concise way of portraying how much he has powered up. But if you have the app reading this to you it is very monotonous and I find myself coming back later to view it in writing because it's easier that way.Again that is my only problem and it is nothing that can be done about it.And a note to the author, if you're reading this. Please continue to write you are doing an amazing job and I can wait to find out more about your stories.

This book starts with a run-of-the-mill concept, the final battle between two OP antagonists betrayed by their "friends", but it goes on to a fascinating story of a complex reanimation fusion adventure with an animated armour (cannon fodder in many rpgs) as the main protagonist. Once past the florid text of chapter one I'm really, really enjoying the well drawn character, I'm so on the side of the monster. I'm looking forward to seeing how the plot works out.

Fantastic read! The environment is well structured and lively. I often find nonhuman leads tend to drift into human logic in the later chapters, but this story has kept the protagonists' thoughts rooted in the moral gray. The story allows for some side plots that add to the main storyline but keep everything fresh. Lots of room for expansion in many different directions for the author. I look forward to seeing future chapters. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to the base-building arc!

This is a promising start of a monster novel, from the author of unfathomable senior. Which if you've read that, you know there's huge potential and world building. So while there's only a few chapters atm, I can see some epic adventure on the horizon. The monster contains the hero and demon King who were both betrayed, doesn't blindly follow the dungeons orders, and wants companions to talk to. So there could be a point where he escapes to quest for revenge, but we're in the power building stage, and his attacks are less brute force and more about setting off traps. That right there should tell you this is different from other dungeon monster novels, the armor uses strategy to claim victory whether that's throwing poison bugs or abusing the dungeon traps that adventurers normally avoid by setting them off himself and taking shots from the sidelines. It's a thinking protagonist, in a setting bigger than the typical lone forever dungeon delve. So while it's starting off small, I think it may be more like how games start in the tutorial zone before going open world. Which is my hypothesis, as there isn't enough chapters to comment further, so I could be wrong later, IDK. Give it a read, review, and follow.

I am enjoying the story a lot right now! I came with some high expectations as I have read the Living Forge but so far it has met those expectations and I cannot wait to see where it will go. The only downside I can think off is that I wish the chapters were a bit longer but I understand it takes a while to write

Starts slow and gets better and better with each chapter. Written well, from the perspective of a monster that doesn’t know much, you gain perception and knowledge as the main character does. It is a slow burn story, but it has exciting twists and turns that are well thought out. If you’re not invested after a couple chapters, keep reading! It has been amazing so far.

I enjoyed the Runesmith story very much so far, so when I saw the author had the starts of a new book done I was very eager to read it.
So far I've enjoyed the background and story opening, and the character development is going nicely.
I'm looking forward to see how the story unfolds and what happens next.

So far its been a great story with great buildup and characters! My only complaints is he stops mentioning skills Leveling up after chaoter like 50 and Rusty keeps complaining about slow leveling when the reason its slowed so much is he always level grinds with his ant companion which takes half his xp! I love seeing what material he is gonna become next though and the fact he actually has to seek advice from the demon king and hero instead of just having all their knowledge!

Good so far Rusty follows logical motivations that are well thought out / explained.
no crazy over powered cheese right off the start.
    grammar and spelling is good.
Font / Sheet layout is similar to the runesmith story and easy to understand with changes shown on the current display rather than needing to go back and work out level up increases.
