= This Story is on an indefinite hiatus until I finish my main project =
This is the story of Nathaniel Spencer, a twenty-three-year-old man, who'd lived a bit of a rough life.
His' is a story that begins as many others do.
With hisdeath.
After having a steel beam dropped on him, crushing his body, Nathaniel finds himself reincarnated into the world ofGrandlore!
He, and a few others who are in the same situation as him, must now work together to survive in this strange new world and hopefully find a way back!
Chapter Length: 2000 Words or above. It can only be more, never less.
Chapter Releases: Whenever I write something. Gotta get dem creative juices flowing first. Preferably once a week though.
Content Warning tags are there to give me creative freedom. Don't worry too much about it.
This story is somewhat slow in the beginning.
Think of it as the early chapters ofSecond Coming of Gluttonyand all the other KN novels where people get sucked into a different world.

- A.T. OliverRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Style: The style was from a 3rd person's omniscient viewpoint and that really worked well for this story. The pacing was excellent and quite fast but not too much so. I did notice some strange choices with certain aspects of the dialogue formatting but that could just be me.
Grammar: There were very few issues, and none of it took away from the story.
Story: I won't spoil a thing because the prologue and chapter 1 have multiple twists and I want to give nothing away. That said, I wasn't disappointed. The main character has goals, strong motivations, a life, and love for those around him. (I guess this should go under the Character section?) But it really helps keep the story grounded.
Character: (look at story) The main character has led a hard life, and tries to get by however he can with the limitations that his family set upon him. I find the character quite varied in their approach and outlook on life, which lends itself to the story. Some of his reactions and inner dialogue occasionally seem off or forced but it doesn't take away much at all.
Overall: I highly recommend this story. The author knows what he's doing, the premise is interesting, the character is relatable, and the stakes are high. What more could you want?! - Sw33tR0llRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Disclaimer: This is a very early and basic review.
From Within the Dungeon is off to a good start! The plot so far has been a believable isekai plot. The protagonist isn't some random dude dropped into a fantasy world and is instantly the master of all weapons and powers. He has a power and some experience from his previous life that he leans on so far, but for the most part he is flying by the seat of his pants.
Unlike many stories with harem, the first group of people the protagonist forms is mostly men, with only two women out of 15 members in the party. One of those women is heavily foreshadowed as being a future member of the harem, but it isn't an instantaneous thing yet.
The author is pretty decent at being descriptive of environments and enemies, a bit less descriptive so far of people, which is something that can be improved. For example, the women introduced so far haven't just been described by their bodies or the size of their their breasts, it's been more general descriptions like "beautiful" or "attractive". While I'm glad the women aren't just being objectified so far, I think the descriptions of the people in general could be a bit for detailed.
The writing is pretty good, with very few grammatical or spelling errors. It does not read like it is written by a beginner, there is a pretty good flow to it so far.
I look forward to seeing if this story develops into something unique or falls into the trap of staying familiar. - gushyRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Just to preface, this is apart of a review swap with the author and they havegiven me permission to post this advanced review.

Overall: I have given it 3.5 stars, which is seen as a bad thing among us writers (me especially lmao), because while it isn't the best, it's also far from bad. It's average, perhaps above average in some aspects, though there's improvements to be had everywhere.
Grammar: Grammer is pretty good. Not perfect of course, I spotted a few errors in every chapter but none of them were egregious enough to make me stop reading. Considering the nature of serials and the lack of editing, it's just about as natural as breathing. So, I will give it a (4/5) stars. There are errors. There are enough of them that I suggest reading online for the more finer, technical details of grammar and syntax; overall, the best way for anyone to nail grammar is keep writing.
Style: And here we have style, the bane of my existence because an authorial voice is difficult to craft. Here, the author suffers from a rather odd voice; I reread a few chapters in order to determine how exactly I feel about it. It's juvenile in some places (as I will later discuss in the story/character section, there are some obvious anime/manga influences), there is a lot of telling. You are given what you need to know, which isn't inherently a bad thing, but the current execution brings the style down.
Though, if I had to ascribe one word to it, it'd be "stoic", which reflects Nate (the MC), who has to be this stoic character due to his circumstances. However, the sentences drag. I think that was why I was uninterested in the style because of the sentence length and lack of variation. For example...
[Excerpt from the Prologue]
Despite some signs of aging, most people who saw her would still consider the woman to be quite attractive. The majority would mistake her for being someone in her late twenties when she was actually already nearing her fifties. Her light blonde hair was kept in a n
