FTLT is a simple story written in a unique slow paced highly detailed style that emphasizes day to day survival of a young baron in a harsh semi-fantasy like world with medieval properties. The MC is someone with modern day morals which naturally clashes with a world full of slaves, bandits and evil nobles.
That being said the story has its flaws. The author should have done better research about certain subjects or could have used more fantasy like explanations to cover certain plot-holes. The MC is quite naive which makes no sense for a man his age. And the dark story background conflicts with the all-go-happy atmosphere around the MC and the kind and merciful MC himself.
That being said, he’s only been in Tiranat for a month, that’s right, 100+ chapters and only a single month has passed. This story is not for inpatient people!
Perhaps he will grow more realistic and practical once people around him start dying, and oh boy, they will start dying once those nobles start targeting Tiranat. That is if the author stays true to the setup he has given us of a ruthless world.
Just don’t you dare touch Maisy author, DON'T YOU DARE!!!

The story is well written and pacing is good. I like how the characters are varied and not just an immediately over powered mary sur just because they arrived from our world to another. There is a sense of effort and work and danger for a character who doesn't have all the answers and has to struggle to find them. Makes for a good read and entertaining story.

I am in love with this story. The only downside I can find is waiting for more to be written. Gah, the wait for each chapter even though they come out so often still feels sooooo long.
Great writing, the world building and characters are the perfect amount of depth. Every character shows intelligence and depth, with none added unnecessarily.
    Keep up the great work.

Initially the book title put me off, not sure why, I thought it would be more snooty! With the MC ‘lording’ it over the other characters!Icouldn’t be more wrong! This is a very enjoyable slow burn isekai fantasy, about an average guy from London, being thrown it at the deep end as a newly appointed Baron! He is responsible for a whole village of people and how he comes to terms with that, and adjusting to a whole new way of life and differing values. He also has to convince his people he is genuine in his wish to improve their lives! Worth the read!

Excellent writing, interesting plot, good amount of tension, mc is a good person in a time when bad things were common. Given his status he has the ability to push back on some of the worst stuff. I’m a big fan of stories involving building up economies and kingdoms. Very excited to see where this goes!

Currently at 383, and gotta say Im a big fan. Spoiler warning in case you haven't read very far.
Author is insanely detailed- you're going to learn a lot of obscur things on topics you never gave any thought to prior. The only downside is I feel as though some of the dialog is fluffed up sometimes to add word count. Specifically it feels like one character says the plan, the other restates it to ensure they understand, and then a third will repeat it again to confirm they'll all follow it. Its not a big gripe, but feels like it happens often, I guess the only saving grace is the concepts being conveyed are totally alien to most of the characters and need to be understood well by all parties before they're enacted AND being that this is conveyed via orders from a high noble they maybe think they'll be whipped if they screw up.
Some other reviews complain that Kivamus is too new age, and a lot of what he has enacted would get him nailed to a cross as a witch. I dont agree- hes a highborn noble who has been "awarded" this little village full of some of the most desperate, downtrodden people in this medieval kingdom. Hes given them reason enough to follow him, and after dragging them back from the brink hes accidentally built a cult of personality.
I love the world building details, the expanse of the map, the lore for the local kingdoms and whispers of further away kingdoms. Kivamus' own name and its origins makes me feel like it's his destiny to be more than just a baron.
All-in-all, this series gives me all the pros of both an Isekai adventure AND an episode of How It's Made without the puns making me want to cough up blood.

Londoner gets isekai'd as a medieval lord, proceeds to techno-uplift his town. I'm a bit biased because I love techno-uplift stories but FLTL has a lot to offer. Heartwarming scenes depicting how Kivamus's modern values endear him to the villagers. They're used to all authority figures constantly trying to screw them over, and are very surprised when Kivamus tries to share Tiranat's meager wealth.No-one has ever been kind to them before and it melts my heart seeing them realize the world isn't all horrible, especially the children.Downsides: The pace is a bit slow at times, it can seem boring. If you're the kind of person who likes to read fast-paced action, there isn't too much fighting. If you are OK with slow-burn but are a fan of techno-uplift stories give FLTL a try, you won't regret it.

Overall a great book. It is one of my personal favorites because a book that mixes isakai, with mideval manor and building up a town while not beigh fully fantasy is quite rare.It is a bit of a slow burn so I could see how some people could get bored of it, but the author does a great job of keeping it interesting throughout every chapter. One of my favorite parts is the heavy world building, to the point where it is like the author is not just telling a story but building a world,
