Description

She's a bunny. She's a girl. And she's going to evolve.

Elise was always made fun of for her big ears and buck teeth. She tried her best to overcome the mockery, only to work herself to death and wake up as... a big-eared, buck-toothed rabbit.

Now, with nothing but an almost worthless System Assistant to help her, she needs to survive in a world full of magic and monsters. On top of all that, for some reason she's been given the ominous {Mark of Fate} skill. She has no idea what it does, butthingskeep happening to her, most of them unpleasant. From little slimes to giant wolves, everything seems to want her dead, and in her efforts to escape them, she winds up in a complicated situation that she is in no way qualified to resolve.

MC is not evil, and makes deliberate choices to avoid becoming evil.  She does make mistakes, sometimes serious ones, but it's all part of the learning process.
Many of the supporting caste also make mistakes, but very few are outright evil.  As this is relatively early in the story, it's not entirely clear where certain characters lie on the morality spectrum, and there's a lot that is deliberately left up to reader interpretation.
It's very adorable that the MC has both the appearance and the personality of a cute bunny.  Her appearance, build, and personality do grow over time, but she never stops being a bunny.  This is very much a "no easy way out" setting, where weaknesses can be mitigated or planned around, but never vanish entirely.
This story also handles cultural and language barriers quite well.  I actually liked the dwarven arc. Having experienced multiple cultures myself, I'm rather impressed at how well the author presented so many contrasts without a single info dump nor any explicit comparisons.
My only note to potential readers is that the pace is on the slow side, and there are only two complete story arcs as of chapter 49. I'll also note that the realism is halfway between gritty and idealistic, such that anyone looking for pure grit, pure action, or pure wish fulfillment will be equally disappointed.

Fun story. charismatic characters. and you discover that the Vorpal rabbit of Mount Python is called Elise. All that's missing is the holy grenade. As for the world building, it's still something to be seen. I'm curious about what a succubus rabbit would be like. it's a shame we'll never know.LOL.

Long-time reader here who has been keeping with this story since book 1 was nearing its end. From the moment she's scrambling in the forest to escape, to her various found families and friends, I've been hooked the whole time.
I have recommended this story to my friends and girlfriend, and have bought the epub version for the books whenever they release. I made an account on Royal Road specifically because of this story to get better notifications, and twice a week (every week) my girlfriend and I scramble to read Bunny Girl Evolution so that we can find out what happens next and immediately discuss it in what we have dubbed our "book club", after messaging the other one that "a new chapter of Elise is out".
Like any story it has its slows and lows, but it's always entertaining to read what Elise will get into. I've heard from multiple other authors on RR that BGE was the story that started something of a genre craze of "girl gets isekai'd and evolves" and I can see why. I've looked into others in this emerging genre because of my enthusiasm for BGE.
If you like magic, personal development, mindset/mentality changes, fey, demons and gods, this is a great story for you. It doesn't keep with just one genre or plot hook for too long but that just makes it feel like a truly chaotic and shifting world.
Now please excuse me while I wait for the next chapter...

Super fun and fresh author.  I can’t wait to read more of this author’s work.  This story is what made me start reading in Royal Road in the first place.  I like Elise a lot as a character, and I enjoy the story she and the other full-of-potential characters around her make together.  Worth a read for sure.  I plan to buy this on Amazon kindle once it’s all released.  I can’t get enough of Sir Bedivere the Mad’s work, more perfectly sane Madness please!
PS. Update, as it progresses it can get a bit darker in whichever direction the particular work tends.

It's a cool fantasy story about an isekaied woman who reincarnated as a rabbit. So far, the story has been interesting and exciting, with a good pace and more than acceptable grammar and prose. If you want to follow the evermore outlandish adventures of our dear rabbit, come and tag along for the ascent of the strongest rabbit in the universe!

It's got everything you want from a litRPG, a likeable MC, a system, numbers going up, dangerous monsters, interesting characters, a good amount worldbuilding (not too much or too little), and a story you can get drawn into and invested in. She hasn't become a bunny girl yet, but it's very much a goal she is working towards, and it hasn't even been 50 chapters yet. I for one prefer stories where the MC isn't able to almost immediately achieve any goal they set out to accomplish.
The current story arc has some politics and intrigue, which apparently some people don't like in their litRPG's, but I'm into it, especially after the recent dev edits. IMO any story where the MC never has any motivations that can't be resolved by just getting stronger would get stale pretty quick. We also get a deeper look at how magic and spellcasting actually work in the setting, which I always find interesting.
tl;dr: If you like litRPG's that have more to them than just numbers going up, you'll like this one.

First caught my eye on kindle unlimited and I am so glad it did.
First not your typical Bunny girl trope. No romance or stupid MC. She thinks through her actions has normal emotional reactions and goals. All the characters are firmly thier own person and not two dimensional. I personally really enjoyed the mix of new instincts mixed with her human thoughts/memories. It feels balanced.
Some grammar issues but mostly normal that can be missed with nothing glaring. Story flows easily with few hitches. The screen for her stat is okay but hard to read easily. POV changes make sense.
Style and story so far have been wonderful take on human turned monster. World is interesting,  system makes sense and is quirky, characters have own agency and emotions.
I am thoroughly enjoying the series and would recommend this to anyone needing a fun light rpg monster story. It does have some more tragic/realistic realities of fighting along with some light bloody scenes. It does not go over board and adds to the world building and emersion of reading the story for me, but I know some people like less or more.
Looming forward to the next book and the authors other works.

TL;DR: Love the story so far, the warm and fuzzy atmosphere is a breath of fresh-air compared to all the other grimdark stories on this site. However I find that some plot and dialogue tend to diverge into meaningless fluff (see chapter 7 and 8) that became a chore to read, though this might change in the future.
Style: Really like the laid back style to the story that gives everything a fuzzy and non-chalant feeling. It is mostly warm and cozy to read, however it can also change into a serious tone when needed, so kudos to the author for that! Only complaint is that the humor with the System sometimes doesn't hit with me, but that might just be me.
Grammar: Nothing to say here, grammar is perfect. The are a few mistakes here and there but that's inevitable with web-novels.
Story: The plot definitely went in an unexpected direction which i enjoy a a lot. But Currently reads to me like a slice of life (not that there's anything wrong with that). There is a lot of fluff dialoged been thrown around that could be removed without taking away from the story. (Especially the elves early on. Why do i need to read their dialogue when i can't comprehend their langue? It becomes boring). The few action scene were good. However this is story is still early in it's life, so keep in mind it may diverge away from this story style when the main plot is introduced. I'll update my review if that happens.
Character: Cute bunny, what else need to be said? Pet her. PET HER NOW! FLUFF!. Jokes aside the author did the fantastic job characterizing the main character Elise. Great backstory and reason to be bunny. The other characters are a bit two dimensional as of right now, but we may get more personality after spending more time with them.

Saw this was going to be stubbed in a few weeks so we read through the hole first book, it's quite good people should read it. To go into a little more detail the good points are that the story is relatively well written has interesting plot points that nice nice monster evolution situation. The bad points, sometimes the plot points are a little obvious sometimes the main character gets a little bit of deus ex machina or contrivance on the part of the author. It is not often enough to make it a real problem but it may be noticeable other than that we would recommend this to most people.

This is pretty much what it says on the tin. There is an Isekai bunny. She evolves.
Thus, enjoying the story derives heavily from how much you like the characters. It’s a personal story, that delivers on the bunny’s personal game-lit based growth. Read it if you like classes, meeting new people, and daring rescues. Maybe don’t read it if you like glorious physical fights? Bunnies are not known for large fangs and powerful martial arts.
