He married into power. Inherited a dead man’s body. And now he’s rewriting the ending no one survived the first time. In my head. Bitter. Brilliant. Watching me relive every mistake he made in a life that ended with betrayal, heartbreak... and murder. But I’m not Ethan Zhou. This story would be elevated if it had an editor it's is phenomenal and new but sometimes a author gets carried away and doesn't read how his chapters come off it needs a beta reader and it would be perfect now it is forcing me to put more words the charector perspective is really good though could be more consolidated but works well the chapters really need to be more consistent though the author has amazing ideas and a good undertone aka soul it needs better gramer and flow I think the MC should be stolen from vivian tho she is a two timer who is not letting the mc go while also not being faithful seriously how many more words needed 200 words is more then I thought I need to apologise to authors for not writing moreWhat more is there to say I like the dynamic of the li family would like to know the thoughts of the clair in the original timeline the mc should go to out whoring with his brother I would also like the Mc to have supporters below him who help him reserch and be lackys who can handle the grunt work he is a noble he should have servents

    Wow! Incredible story.
I am captivated with the characters and the dynamics of the main characters. Looking forward to the character development.
When Daniel and Vivian finally come together, they will be a powerhouse to be reckoned with.
I am also thinking Daniel is under developed in mana and the ways of his new reality.
I look forward to more chapters! Thanks!

This is some of the most fun I've had with a Cultivation / Transmigration story in a long time. Great politics, cultural interaction, genius level interactions, face slapping, duels...this is really great and satisfying and fun, I highly recommend it.
About to go read his other advertised works and see if they're as good, which so far has not been reliable with other authors on RR.

A very fun High powered chinese Drama , MC who is not playing the same politcal power game as everyone else. A a lttile twist on Reincarnation. Multiple POV's which for this type of book is great to have IMO as its set up like a chinese period drama with super powers involved.  Hope there more to come soon.

This has got to be one of the most original stories I've read, and I've read quite a few! It's not original in setting, it's an ancient chinese setting, but not quite xianxia... or at least the type of xianxia I'm used to reading. There isn't much action, which would normally turn me off right away if it wasn't base building or something similar.
What this story has is much more subtle. It's about affecting the surroundings with a mere word or simple innocent action. As I write this I'm thinking, "Wow, that doesn't sound interesting at all, does it?" But it is quite the opposite. I apologize, as it is difficult for me to explain, but this tale is very, very interesting and addictive. I find myself checking RR repeatedly just to see if there is a new update on chapters.
All I can ask is for you to give it a try and prove me wrong or just plain crazy!

It does have several cliche's and the main character/s are a bit too perfect. but I have found it very very fun, and getting better regularly, and playing and being able to make fun of itself with some of the tropes, as well, as, (later on), starting to subtly twist my expectations of the characters and the plot. 5 star honestly might be a bit high, when I first started reviewing, I was basically never going to go above 4 and half; but then I thought what's the point of 5 star if no one is allowed to get it, and I personally would be very proud of myself if I wrote this story, and I find it very fun.tldr.Pros: fun story, gets more subtle and clever over time. (I like Harem, and think that it could/should go that way, and be much better than the admittedly poorly written versions you generally see)cons: main character a bit too wise/self controlled/ perfect. and hard to follow some of the explanations of magic computer's being built, even if you have a bit of background in programming. (though that helped). Anyways. it is cheesy, but really fun, and my first 5 star review, I reaallly like it!

This story is a true blessing to its readers even if it's just getting started. Where do I begin... First the story telling is well formatted and reads like a real book you would get from the library ( I mean in a professional, reviewed, edited way). I would not be surprised if I picked this up at Barnes &Noble . The next thing to talk about is the story it's self ,there are various things I would like to point out as amazing.one - the plot so far, the story is a seems like a genre that I have came across before reincarnated, transmigration and cultivation and it is, it has the elements  but is is also different. (Will not give details so I don't spoil anything)
Two- the pov's... I normally don't like point of view switches if done incorrectly it is annoying or interferes with the story. Not in this book  the pov's hint at things to come or are form character I really want to known how they viewed a certain scene . The pov's are well placed and add to the overall story .
Third- the author really gets being a reader and adds that to his character ( the MC)
Fourth- the background for the characters . Not only do the characters have backgrounds but they actually fit with their actions and personalities, no character acting out of character (😂)
Overall this is a great story I look forward to reading and enjoying. The story has made me laugh and feel vindicated all in a few chapters. I hope the Arthur continues with this book and writing style.
P.s thank for writing an amazing story.

Well written and with a diffrent plot than most other stories here. It has dragged me into it and captivated me from the start. I will continue this story with great anticipation. The main characters are well written and the story is written very well. I want to submit this but I have to write a longer review than I wanted to and I resent this web page because of it. bla bla bla bla.

I usually don't like to review a novel like this until around the 100th chapter mark. in my experience, that's usually the place where things fall off the rails or not.But I am enjoying this story a lot so far. It's quite fun and there the intrigue is character-driven if that makes sense. I'm looking forward to reading more, and will likely update this review if my opinion changes. So far, though, it's great. At this point, I'd definitely recommend it.5/5 stars.Edit: Just saw that the Harem tag was added, ugg. No point in continuing reading at this point, so sad, but it had so much potential. I'll leave the 5 star rating so the review doesn't get deleted, this site is notorious for author blocking negative reviews

This story is a gem in the crowded field of cultivation and transmigration tales. The premise immediately hooked me: two souls sharing one body, constantly negotiating, clashing, and complementing each other. It’s not just a gimmick—the dual perspective enriches every scene, giving both insight and humor, and keeping the inner dialogue as compelling as the outer conflicts. The protagonist is clever without being omnipotent. I appreciate how his background as a systems engineer informs his choices—it feels refreshing compared to the usual “instant genius cultivator” trope. The tension with the cold bride is handled well too; there’s subtle chemistry and political weight behind every interaction, and it feels like the slow burn is building toward something meaningful rather than rushed romance. The worldbuilding deserves mention. Noble clans, arranged marriages, and deadly traditions all feel familiar to xianxia readers, but the execution flips the script just enough to feel new. Strategy and system elements balance the martial progression nicely, and the political intrigue never feels like filler. That said, the style may not suit everyone. The author sometimes leans on very short, punchy paragraphs—even single sentences—that give the story a staccato rhythm. Personally, I found it energetic and easy to binge, though I can see how some might prefer more traditional narrative flow. All in all, it’s a story that keeps me looking forward to every new chapter. Clever, tense, and emotionally engaging—well worth five stars.
