Feeling the Water: A Robot's Quest for Life™

We follow the journey of Cora, a female robot laborer who begins to develop self-awareness. Initially frustrated by her feminine design, understanding she was merely property and could never be human, she becomes fascinated by the ocean and human interactions, discovering an unspoken language beyond logic. After a near-fatal encounter with a tidal wave, Cora sneaks out again and heroically saves a drowning child, catching the attention of a young boy named Johnny. He rescues her from a recycling facility and nurses her back to health. As Cora develops emotions and Johnny comes to terms with his past, they both face societal resistance but grow into beautiful young people. Their journey culminates with Cora receiving a human body and realizing that being human is defined by the heart within, not the body.
