Description

The world is a cold and dark place. Beasts and creatures have spawned to further decimate the declining races of humanity as one man, an envoy, fights to return the world to a peaceful state. But to do so, the envoy must best monsters, men, and even deities in order to save mankind. All that can be said is that the envoy, like the humanity it represents, must challenge even the mightiest of gods in order to endure.

I enjoyed the chapters being longer than usual because it allows the possibility to have good character development where it isn't too rushed or too slow. Every one of the characters has a great background. Also, the attention to detail was on point with the monsters, very gory, and great descriptions of the action-packed scenes. I'm surprised I found the author here after reading his previous book "Coffin of Tears" (amazing). All in all, I am enjoying Envoy so far, I can't wait for more chapters to arrive.

The world-building in this story is crazy, the author does an amazing job of creating something so detailed and perfectly put together. The chemistry between the characters is very well-developed, and I'm excited to see where the story leads the characters. The main character, Xiaojun's resilience is truly admirable.
