Description

Awakening in a forest our protagonist does not remember her name, her past or where she is. She has to learn how to defend for herself, find allies and perhaps find out who she is and why she can't remember anything.

"The last star" is the second work I'm working on as a sort of procrastination from my first work "Morninglight". English is not my first language so any feedback on grammar and spelling is greatly appreciated.

Overall:
This was a fantastic story. Every single one of the 52 stars was memorable, every single side character felt important and real and the language used was beautiful.
This has to be one of the best written stories on this entire platform (and I dont even really like sci fi all that much).
Story:
The overall goal for the story is rather simple. Travel across the last 52 stars in the universe, but it is not as simple as it first sounds. There will be another goal added which overlaps with the first one (wont be mentioned again due to spoilers), but that is not what makes this story complex and so good.
Every single star is unique. Presenting a completely different "genre". From empty and dead worlds, to worlds filled with simple robots, to flesh abominations, to ... you get my point. And even with this it nothing ever feels out of place.
But what makes each star so unique is not the setting or the creatures. Instead is the questions the star throws at our protagonists. Countless moral dilemmas to thought experiments given form and questions about the lore. This causes every star to feel unique.
Character:
There are two main characters. Avi and Luna. And Avi is the shining star of the show. She is by far the most simple yet complex character I have ever seen (or at least remember).
She strictly believes in the good in every single being and that all life is priceless no matter the consequences. While someone like that sounds insanely boring and one dimensional, it is her unbending will to see it through that makes it just work so well.
She will kill like once or twice throughout the whole book and she abhors it with every fiber of her being. She sees these as her worst moments. And it doesnt just feel superficial.
Before I get even more carried away and end up spoiling all the fun things, lets move on.
Luna is the second main character. She has her own set of morals but mostly follows Avi's ideas because she believes in Avi with an unwavering loyality. And she w

The POV is swaying from first to third; mostly her musings have their own paragraph. Interesting writing technique. The camera moves back to follow Avi in third-person POV.
Her main quest is mostly rooted in her love for or memory of her parents, then Luna came into her life. What's her motivation; I guess I'll have to read chapter two o/

I cant say enough how easy it was to read this story and follow every detail. Nowadays, some stories can be very dense, but in this case, even if it has a complex atmosphere around, its definitely easy and good translate it to "paper".
The only "but" would be the presentation itself of the text, that sometimes was a bit harder just becuase of sentence organization (grammar details). But its a tiny tiny detail.
