Let Me Nap in Peace delivers a refreshing mix of dry humor, overpowered characters, and a surprisingly emotional journey. Luther is a standout MC... sarcastic, wise, and just wants to be left alone (which of course never happens). His dynamic with Asher, the underdog disciple, is both entertaining and meaningful.
The pacing is fast but well-controlled, and the system/quest elements feel fun and meta-aware without being gimmicky. There's real care in the storytelling, even behind the jokes.
If I had one suggestion, it would be this: some emotional moments, like Asher's family conflict or Luther’s internal guilt — pass a little too quickly. Giving these scenes more breathing room could balance the comedy and elevate the emotional stakes even further.
Of course, that's just my personal opinion as someone who’s still learning the craft of writing.
If you enjoy cultivation tropes flipped on their head, and a master-disciple story with bite and soul, this one's a gem.

This contrast creates countless amusing situations. Furthermore, the development of his disciple Asher, from an underdog to a young talent, along with the presence of the robot butler Charles, brings distinct and appealing flavors to the story.
The plot skillfully balances slice-of-life moments and the protagonist's desire for rest with foreshadowing of larger-scale conflicts, keeping readers constantly intrigued. The author's gradual reveal of Luther's power and past is also a plus, creating necessary mystery. The familiar "System" element is refreshed through its humorous confrontation with an unruly host. I love Luther. His personality is so strong, I honestly wanted to talk to him myself at times. His interactions with the system felt real and engaging, and the system elements never felt stiff or forced.
All the characters feel alive, with distinct voices and mannerisms that make them easy to connect with. Watching them interact through the world is a joy.
Suggestions for Improvement
The story is already going strong. Could I suggest a bit more clarity around some of the system terms or place names? It might just be me not being super familiar with the genre, but I got a little lost once or twice. That said, it never took me out of the experience.
