Dungeon Chronicles: The Rise of a Core
Community Rating
Description
Angeli, a morally questionable world renowned Scientist, who hails from a sixth generation Artistic lineage of world renowned artists, died. Upon her death, her soul was reincarnated into a dungeon Core.
This is the story of a newborn dungeon, which like any other dungeon sets off on the path to become the greatest and biggest and baddest dungeon of them all. After all, what is the point of being a dungeon if you can't be the best, right? I assume that all dungeons want to be world renowned, right? Now if only it could make sense of all these weird information packages that came with its birth and somehow incorporate them into its dungeon, this would make its journey to world domination that much easier. Sigh, why is it so difficult to be the best…
(Disclaimer: Although reincarnated, the Core is born anew as a newborn Dungeon Core without previous life memories, so do not expect it to hold onto Human Morals and Values)

- magical heartRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5So far the story's been pretty good were still in the early stages but the author has been laying down some good story hook and been doing a good job of building the dungeon which is the most important part of any dungeon story. All and all if you like dungeon stories I think you'll like this one.
- ScruffedUpRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0So, before we get in I am just going to point out some stuff I think need to be fixed immediately, regardless of anything else. I will do my best to keep my criticism constructive, as giving it without possible solutions or tips is just rude.
-Novel Name Capitalization
Names have to be capitalized, and even if you are only using this one as a temp-name you should still have it capitalized. It makes the novel look better and even if you plan on changing it in the future, the people finding it now are going to take a look the name being uncapitalized and make assumptions.
It's a small thing, but it helps make the novel appear professional and can really help get more people to click on it when they see it in the 'recent updates' tab or wherever else.
People may say 'Don't judge a book by the cover.' but we all do it, especially for actual books.

Style/Story: Combined because there isn't enough content to split this yet.
-Chapters are really short.
I generally recommend around 3k words per chapter, as that allows you to post enough content to make the chapter worth reading. I have read books in the past with really short chapters like this before, and even when I enjoy them it's difficult to finish them because I have to click the 'next chapter' button 400 times to even get halfway through it.
(This is more of a personal preference / recommendation thing, so you can ignore it if you wish)
-Narrator Sometimes Breaks the Flow.
Now, having the 'narrator' speak while telling the story is rather common, some of my favorite stories have some 'voice' or something along those lines laying out the story for us or giving us foreshadowing or other stuff. The issue I take here is the way it's done more than anything.
>Emoji's During Narrator's Speech. (please no emoji's in the story itself, if it's the system itself taking the piss, I get it, but the writing itself shouldn't have emoji's unless it's detailing something like a text or something alon
