Description

What does death mean? Happiness, of course!

Kaiti Necros is an aspiring Grim Reaper, who has always disliked sadness and chaos. As a denizen from the Underworld, those two things have always been present all her life. However, as fate would have it, she finds herself in the human world. A world free of bloodlust and despair, a world in which she can help people, and more importantly — a world in which she can make others happy!

But, to her dismay, things aren’t as simple as she initially thought. Whether it is the realization of Grim Reapers being perceived as ultimately grim, or the shadow of her home following her to the human world, nothing is as she expected…

This story has a really great premise, a grim reaper walking among humans in a contemporary setting. It's got a comical slice-of-life feel to it, and the writing is very competent. Character interactions and dialogue take advantage of the premise well. Overall, this is a cool idea, and I'd love to read more!

As of now the first volume has finished, so it's the perfect time to binge!!
MC is lighthearted without being endlessly naive, there's good character growth exploring what it means to be happy. More slice of life-y than anything, there's good comedic moments but also feels to be had.
I had no issue with the grammar. Definitely recommend checking it out.

I find the story up to this point very interesting the dreams and problems of the main charecter are unique enough to make every reaction to a new stuation surprising and she is likeable. The story itself is well writtten, but I can´t say anything about the plot, since there isn´t that much jet.

The title is just to hedge things, if Azrie one day comes around to do a review for me. I don't do review swaps.
    ................ Style.
Azrie can write feels that unapologetically hit you like a runaway Shinkansen. It's like eating the devil's Jalapeños. It burns but tastes so good!
It's not for everyone, I reckon. Still, it's precious and rather exquisite. Call it an acquired taste. I don't care.
One more serving, coming hot, please, chef.
    ........... Story.
The story is not pretentious. It's a rather easy one to get going. The setting hints at a larger world, but we follow one girl as she steps out of the shell of her ancient family for the first time.
    .............. Grammar
I have no problems with teh [sic] grammer [sic]. Not too verbose, just right.
    .............. Character
Then the character. Kaiti is innocent, a tabula rasa, a window to see our own modern society through untainted eyes. She blooms during the story, finding her own self. Her inner dialogue is a delicacy, a window into her soul and mind.
    Just lovely.
Through Kaiti we re-learn what it means to be human. What it means to forge connections, bonds.
She rejects the "grim" in "grim reaper".
    .
    >  Don't call me a "grim" reaper.
    .
Kaiti is not grim. She's an explosion of emotions.

Before I get into the proper review, I have to say...this webnovel is better than I initially thought.
It's funny, the action scenes are entertaining and the concept is more unique than what I thought at first.
I really like how different grim reapers can be in concept and feel from author to author.
Style: I would say that the style is unique and different due to it being presented from Kaiti's point of view. The reason I can't give it a five is because I think the narration should have a bit more diversity and description. 4/5
Story: The story and everything about it it's great, I'm usually not that into slice-of-life but I think the author did a good job of making me care forthis story, it's characters and its world. The ending of book 1 was more emotional than I thought it would be. Even with some of its flaw, it is 5/5 for me.
Grammar: As far as I can see...the grammar is good, my only nitpick would it be some grammar mistakes here and there at the start of the webnovel that gets fixed after that. 4/5
Characters: I love all the characters, and you fleshed out Kat, Ash and The Old Man very well, and I think the slice-of-life exhanged my caring for the characters even more. I'd say that my favorite character is Kaiti, just due to how cute, funny and naive she is. 5/5
Overall Rating: 5/5. An overall very good and enjoyable series that I would reccomend it for anyone looking for a fun series with action-packed and sad moments in it.
Kaiti is just the cutest, the world is interesting and the story is enjoyable.

Read all the chapters available as of now. Very unique premise that is executed well. Feels very slice-of-life-y. Didn't notice any grammar mistakes. I am excited to keep reading this story and for new chapters. I think it has a lot of potential and at the very least, I would recommend you bookmark until more chapters are released if you don't read it now.

This one's concept of the aspiring grim reaper new to the human world offers some great potential. It is written in that vapid light-novel style people have come to love.
It is written well enough to build up a little more than what's on the page, a stream of consciousness giving form to the main character's inner world.
People are going to like this one, the main character in her unworldliness reminds one a lot of Salvos. I'm confident that there'll be a lot of readers who'll find themselves with her.

This is a story in the genre of "cute girl does cute things". In our case the cute girl is Kaiti, and the cute thing is being a fledgling grim reaper with near zero common sense in the modern world. We follow the MC in their day to day as she reacts to a new environment, meets and interacts with new people, with just a bit of action added in the mix. Kaiti is also quite introspective and a bit philosophical, which is a plus in my book.
The writing is solid, The pacing is all over the place in the first few chapters but straightens out as it goes. The story is a tad on the slow side.
As of time of writing this review chapters get out every day, which is another boon.
