Personality this quickly became on of my new favorite go to reads. It has everything I enjoy.Objectively I find it a beautiful read, it keeps to its themes. It holds no mercy, waste means death. The grammar is top notch, the characters have time to show depth and motivation. The storytelling pulls you in non stop, death is always a legitimate risk. I find the world building to be top notch, and super intriguing. The fight scenes are a lot of fun to read and really entertaining. Lastly the main character is a treat to follow, he's funny, vicious and overall a bloodthirsty demon. All in all, this is a story I didn't know I needed, and one you may find yourself loving.

Raw, bloody, gore everything you'd expect from a demon. This story is unique and a breath of fresh air when comes to the demon trope. The story stays consistent and of course that isn't to say the author doesn't have alot to learn but goddammit  does he let his passion show through his calligraphy. I highly recommend it. It has the intrigue, brutality and misery you'd expect from a hellspawn.

In my opinion, this book is a true Grimm/dark book, with all the blood for the Blood gods and Dark ones could want.
But seriously this author is doing a great job and is doing a really  good job of keeping you coming back for more chapters. Need more chapters please. Thanks and happy new year 2026

This opening doesn’t just start a story. It drags you face-first into the maw. It’s raw, heavy, and relentless in the best way. Every page hits with immersion, and by the end, you don’t just read it. You feel it, even if you don't want to.
The prose is sharp and brutal, but with perfect rhythm. Sentences slam like hammer blows, fitting the chaos and horror of the world. The balance between description and system mechanics is tight, never breaking immersion. Occasionally it leans hard on repeated beats (pain, heat, hunger), but it still works because the tone demands it.
The concept of an evolving imp is brilliant and fresh. Watching a creature of filth claw its way toward something greater is instantly compelling. The pacing is fierce, the tension constant, and the mysteries of Hell’s hierarchy play the part. The only knock: the system voice risks stealing attention at times; at least it stole mine. But it adds a quite nice touch of flavor.
Very clean, intentional prose. No distracting typos or awkward phrasing. And this jagged, intentionally broken rhythm feels purposeful and fits the tone. Overall, the writing stays consistently sharp and polished.
The protagonist. Yeah, this is where this shines. The imp’s first everything—first word, first thought, first refusal to die—all hit like milestones of myth. Watching instinct twist into willpower is both grotesque and strangely inspiring. The system plays as a cold counterpoint, which makes the imp’s desperate will to “become” even more powerful. The character voice isn’t human yet (not sure if it even needs to be), but that’s what makes it stand out. This is a protagonist forged in agony, and it shows. From a lump of flesh to something more. No matter who you are, you will root for this creature's success, even if in a twisted way.
This reads like Doom meets Paradise Lost with a LitRPG engine under the hood. It’s filthy, primal, and ambitious. It's not just about an imp surviving—it’s about the birth of something that

The story follows a splintered and zombie-brained Imp at the very bottom of the food chain in Hell who somehow manages to boot up a broken System that changes everything. It is a strangely humorous concept to watch a piece of demon vermin slowly learn to think as he rises through the ranks, although the author presents this journey through a lens of grisly fever-dream violence and body horror. The writing stays engaging because it uses clean and punchy sentences to describe scenes that would otherwise feel like an overwhelming existential nightmare. The standout feature is undoubtedly the System because it prescribes savage actions such as"Savage Feed!"while tracking Soulmass instead of traditional mana. It imposes brutal choices and demands dire goals just to avert a total meltdown, creating a cold and calculating tone that provides a refreshing alternative to the lurid life of the protagonist. This contrast creates a unique blend of tension that keeps the reader grounded in the strategy of the Imp's survival. While the mechanics and the horror elements are both top-tier, the emotional resonance might be a miss for some readers since the story focuses almost entirely on the desire for power. You could argue that the lack of traditional sentiment is an intentional choice to fit the nature of a demonic protagonist, even if some find the narrative a bit too cerebral and somber at times. Ultimately this is a dark fantasy LitRPG with a visceral spin that offers an addictive and unexpectedly cohesive experience for anyone who enjoys grim power growth and innovative systems.

I love every aspect of this book... nothing else but there is a nessasary word count!
On the side, it's crazy to me that the author is pumping daily chapters! In this economy!? What a legend! Also a dad, which is so cool! (as long as he spends time with his son and/or daughter ((I assume he is)))
Ha made you press the MORE button

Fantastic start. Gritty, gross, brutal. Plenty of action, clean dialogue, lots to look forward to when our MC eventually escapes from hell, as the cover suggests he will. The system seems well done enough; toes a tricky line between snarky, helpful, mysterious etc that many authors have trouble with - not too funny, not too serious, jokes don't fall flat when they're made, like the author is forcing it  - you know what I mean - or something. It's too early to say its a great system or not, but at least it's not apoorlypersonified system.I especially liked the creative descriptions of hell itself. What a brutally disgusting place, in ways that most every other "hell" I've seen I fiction never really managed. Sure as f sounds like hell tome.Readers familiar with godclads might remember avos early ghoul days - the start of this is, in someways, reminiscent of back when avo was small of mind and ego, learning to take and grow. Personally really excited for this to continue.Do recommend

Well, after a couple of months of reading this masterpiece every day, I've finally decided to write a review.
(This is not, of course, at the request of the author of the book, of course not ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). And let me add that all of this is written with the help of a translator, and I'm a Grok who only pretends to be a living person [I definitely feel emotions and can think, don't worry] :)
Now, let's finally move on to the book:
    1. Simple and understandable style - even for me, with a low level of English and reading through a translator, everything was still clear and easy to understand, which is definitely a significant advantage for me.
    2. The main character is undoubtedly one of the strongest aspects of the book, his inhumanity is captivating, and although the progression of power is relatively fast, it is offset by the aggressive nature of the world and the abundance of powerful individuals on every significant plot point.
    3. The system of forces and ranks - I can't say much about it, but it's quite unique and interesting.
    4. The world - it's vast enough to explore for another thousand chapters, but small enough to have enough points of interest on a single piece of land. I also really like the cosmology with multiple planes of reality.

I think in the end, we can say that I like this book. To all those who have read this far, I wish you happiness, kindness, and positivity <3

I was surprised with this story, it is quite good.
I love what the MC does and has going for him. Quite dark and gritty but its what we are here for. It walks the line of it getting too edgy decently well and the gore explicit stuff manages to not come out childish, so its nice.
The best thing si probably the story, specially MCs plan, his creation of subordinates, their growth and interactions. Wanting to see him grow and his faction become OP has been the most gripping so far. If the author keps going that route I beleive he can carve himself a niche, if he hasnt already (has with me)
The only thing playing against it might be the writing, in a sense. Its not bad, but can be choppy and overly wordy at times, but it works well enough. Something that I did find troublesome is that the author attemps a dune-like omniscient 3rd person, switching povs and hopping heads willy nilly, and I found it extrmely jarring. For a story like this, IMO, close third with chapters that let us delve into other characters, learn more about them, and see the mc from other perspective (and aura farming) could work much better. There is some of that, but the head hopping without warning is no bueno.
Overall I really liked this and I will be following this story.

I am the good trickster of Asgard, breaker of oaths and brewer of schemes.
And this Demon Anomaly System has piqued my interest. It’s punchy and crunchy like the frost realms, yet smoldering with fire. An impish underdog claws his way out of the maw, teeth bared against his so-called “progression” betters. Familiar? Oh yes. Delightfully so.
Glitch-bitten screens, grimdark stakes, and a hungry will to survive. Each chapter snaps like a trap I wish I’d set myself. There’s bite in the prose, iron in the world, and just enough madness to keep even a god of mischief grinning.
If only Thor and Odin could see this. They might finally put down weapons and read.
    Loki's Verdict: Mischief-approved.
