What readers say about Delayed Transfer
“Nice a straight forward system dungeon story. I am enjoying reading this very much. I do wonder what happens after the year is up. Will his safe havens disappear? Maybe I missed that in the beginning. This review requirement is really annoying. Roya…”

- TorlythRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Nice a straight forward system dungeon story. I am enjoying reading this very much. I do wonder what happens after the year is up. Will his safe havens disappear? Maybe I missed that in the beginning. This review requirement is really annoying. Royal road needs to change it. Annoying to type this much on a phone. Please let me be done!
- ChihayaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Really love the Story. Hope there will be many more chapters to read.
The Main character is someone I can see myself in. So the Story got me and I read it from chapter one to the last one in one big rush.
Since english ist not my first language - no comment about grammar from :) - KaedynRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It has been a very good read and story it is taking a look how very nice person got power and it is fun and unique. The writer of this book does forget stuff but hey don't we all. I hope this story continues and thanks for reading this review
- Edran MavricenRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Seriously, I can’t get enough of this. MC starts as a fat otaku, then gets everything handed to him with no consequences while everyone claps and cheers
It’s a complete train wreck, absolutely delicious over-the-top wish-fulfilment, and you shouldn’t read this with any expectations other than to enjoy what new stuff the universe will give the MC
Five Stars: It doesn’t take itself seriously, and neither should you - RumtwistRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Just finished binge reading to this point, and your story so far is solid in my opinion. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the next chapter.
A direct quote I left for the author. Alrighty why a score of four. The writing sometimes feels clunky especially at the start however the writer does warn English is not his native language.
I tend to read way to much, and a few spots in this story are original ideas or at least I've not read an equivalent elsewhere. my personal score would push the rating up to 4.5 just because I'm intrigued to see where this story goes and look forward to the next chapter.
I feel safe to recommend this story to casual readers. Best of luck and hope y'all take a look. - Jonathan ProutyRoyal Road★★★ 3.0The concept of the story is really fun and interesting. The problem is that we are told about all of these increases in skills and stats but there is no record shown. It is really difficult to follow the characters growth without a character sheet. I know that he has all these powers but I have no place to go to view the skills nor look at his stats.
In addition to there being no way to follow growth the MC continues to make really immature decisions that are not very well thought out. I wonder if the author is using this to show how over his head the MC is. It makes the MC really unlikable. He has niche interests and is not very relatable so it is hard to like him. The main positive of the MC is that he is overly generous. It is to the point he puts himself and possibly his normal friends into trouble.
Others have noted the grammar issues prior there are parts that seem AI generated and other parts that are obviously an English language learner. It does get better as the story unfolds. I might come back to it just to see if the MC gets better. - akaiLunarRoyal Road★★★ 2.5I loved how it started. but everything went down hill from there.
the system is almost forgotten, and the core fun stuff get pushed away for a Disney like approach.
and the mc is the greatest downfall of this story he's a hypocrite and stupid. just when you think he'll change by him realizing he's mistakes he prosseds to make the same stupid mistakes again. I stopped reading at like ep 125? but I won’t continue I was hoping for him to mature but he didn't and so I'll stop - cybernightRoyal Road★★ 2.0Honestly, I can live with all the grammar issues in this story, but what I can't stand is how someone who receives a system and a private dungeon can be such a tool. The beginning was ok, he actually used his dungeon and leveled up but later on near chapter 100 he just stops and gives away all his stuff and dungeon items. Then the true hell begins. He gets transferred to a new world joins a circus and just tells everyone he meets all his secrets and just hands out free stuff to everyone. I had to stop around Chapter 189 because driving an RV in a medieval world just became too much for me along with the fact he never went back into his dungeon to level up again and for a gamer that is just disgraceful.
- tiloraRoyal Road★ 1.0100chapters in and it stll reads like a list of items being checked off: they then went..., then he did...., then someone called, etc
Skills are detailed, but combat is not. OP MC is OP and every "encounter" is just a list of skills that was used and MC wins. He never takes damage or is ever in danger. - SlizeerRoyal Road★ 1.0This story explores a trope that I think is awesome and haven’t seen attempted before (Isekai but delayed with forewarning), so I had some crazy high hopes for this book. Unfortunately, I have only caught glimpses of that potential. The MC gets an OP ability to get stronger in a way unique to him, but after the first hundred chapters or so he has barely scratched the surface of it.
This book feels like when people go do all the side quests in a video game to get stronger, except our MC isn’t getting any stronger, and we haven’t seen any kind of main storyline that he might get back to.
There’s no progression beyond the first push before the MC gets bored. There’s a ton of opportunities for min-maxing that he just decided to ignore. And this story has basically turned into a slice of life how to guide on how to go to a different world and do nothing.
