Oh, I love it when I read something with a fresh concept, especially one that didn't have an author who failed to execute well on the idea. The story has such a great start! The main character's interesting (and entertaining), and at least the other characters have some life to them. I'd have to read more to see how this goes, but as of now, it is absolutely a 5/5

If you've ever read something like Borne of Caution (a Pokémon fanfic about a zookeeper ending up in Hoenn) or even Beware of Chicken at a stretch, this story's going to feel pretty similar; and it so happens that Hyena Werks can keep up with BoC and BoC in quality as well!
While the story (at the time of writing this review, the latest chapter is/was chapter 5) hasn't yet reached the point where Max (our Main Character) starts flexing his artificer-muscles all over Orario and it's denizens and the Dungeon and it's denizens, it has a lot of good witty back-and-forth to make up for that. Given the descriptions of what Max has built/made I'm really excited to see what sort of stuff he comes up with! Hopefully we'll see a new and improved Chainsaw Sword.
Great work, DangerDesperado! Very cool! *presents very twinkly gesture of praise*

The first chapter was very solid, and I'm eagerly looking forward to more! Minor spelling/punctuation errors, but hardly noticeable and the story is off to a solid start! I highly recommend giving this a try. Admittedly I'm not super familiar with Danmachi - I've read a smidge, but fell off the wagon after a bit, but I do play in two separate D&D 5e campaigns, so color me extremely interested in seeing what kind of interactions there will be between the MC's abilities and how the world of Danmachi functions.

Every chapter feels like watching a gnoll with a PhD in shenanigans try to hack reality using duct tape and divine energy. It shouldn’t work, and yet it absolutely does. Peak entertainment. Tho... I usually play as a gnoll, so I might just be biased. Fun read. I do hope this continues. I honestly tried to watch the anime this guy got Isekaid before, and didn't finish, but because of the story, I am willing to try to watch it now

Not grading grammar because I'm not gonna comb through everything to see if there are things to nitpick. Ill leave it at It's perfectly readable

    Style:
I'm not entirely sure how distinct the story is stylistically, but it keeps a running consistency regarding how it handles things. Though I do find the direct reference to level a tad odd.
    ----
Story: Not really much out so hard to judge properly, however, I enjoyed the progression so far. It felt reasonable, but mixed in the usual fantasy bs in a fun way. Would recommend.
    ----
Character: the rest of the story was pretty good, but my favorite part has to be the MC. The strange melding of fictional character and man who made said character with all the mental issues that come with that is a very fun thing to read. I hope the division between character and person is explored more down the road when the MC has a chance to just sit and breathe for a day or two. On top of that the MC is just straight goofy in a way I think a lot of people would be when confronted with seemingly moronic circumstances. Or maybe not, he does seem a bit loopy. Either way I thought it was done well.
The side characters around him seem to be incredibly trope-based at first glance, but the author has hinted at them being far more than their appearance. I'm hoping we get more soon, because I really do want to know what's up with the City's guardian situation.

Overall: Fun read with fun characters, I suggest giving it a look up to at least the third chapter.

TL;DR: Author uses a Dungeons and Dragons character to point out all sorts of flaws in the world of "Is it Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?", and does it with skill, humor, and sarcasm.
(Yes, it has that other name, but I can't remember it.  Plus, my first and only personal knowledge of that world was watching the first season of "Is it Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?", and being creeped out by several scenes.  I do NOT recommend the anime or the manga!)
Style: The overall story layout, character point of view shifts, and other style choices are fine and do not detract from the story. 5/5 stars.
Grammar: I do not recall any mistakes that made me mad, nor did I feel compelled to point out suggestions to edit. 5/5 stars.
Story: The source materials are treated well, and the plot hums along like a well-built engine. 5/5 stars.
Characters: The mc is a delightful mix of fun, sarcastic, introspective, and sheer giggling madness!  Both the mc and the supporting characters feel dynamic and worth reading about.  The concept of being transmigrated into a nonhuman body is handled very well, with thought shifts and mood shifts that make sense!  8/5 stars!
Summary:  I normally try to review stories after they're done, because some stories get dropped, and other stories I wind up dropping.  But I'm reviewing because I want to encourage the author, and because this story is different enough and well done enough that I believe an early (for me) review is warranted.

this story scratches an itch for a character and story type done rarely and even more rarely done well; in this case it is done fantastically and while it was a little off at the start(first two chaps threw me off a little trying to figure out the groove of the story) its like a muscle stretching the result is fantastic I hope to continue reading this for years to come.

I have no idea about the plot of danmachi or the intricacies of DnD stuff, but I’m amused by the idea of someone from one genre of media getting tossed into another and what that entails.
I can’t wait to see how this story turns out and am really excited for the next chapter!
