Ado 'Mini' Stratier is a genius. She's the mind behind the revolutionary Genesis Simulation, a full-scale model of reality, built from the ground up to let researchers study anything they want with ease. Want to build a particle collider the size of a solar system? Sure thing, just snap your fingers. Want to study how civilizations grow and develop? Pick a planet, we've got billions. Want to see how literal gods would use their power if they existed? ... It's pretty much what you would expect.So when Ado notices something off in the amount of resources the simulation is using, she gets suspicious. Everyone thinks she's being paranoid, but she knows better. Something is wrong, and considering her personal reason for building this simulation was to test if her own reality is a simulation, "something wrong" could easily turn into "something catastrophic."

Follow Ado as she dives into her life's work,immediatelygets trapped, and struggles to figure out what's happening to the world around her as well as her reality back home.

This story will contain light LitRPG elements, heavy abuse of glitches in the system, horror elements (tagged to help readers avoid them), and a universe full of magic, monsters, wormholes, and existential crises!

This is an alternate universe story of a tabletop campaign I am running for some friends. Basically a "what if the heroes never met" fanfiction of my own setting where the admin has to save reality as she knows it with hard work, determination, and wavedashing. The system that this runs on is called Starlight Cinema, and is effectively a completely homebrew game, though the basic combat structure (initiative, action, bonus action, reaction, 30ft standard move) is pulled from D&D. If anyone reads this in the first place and then is interested in the system, I'll be happy to share it! Fair warning, it's really really janky, but it allows for very big numbers and is very good at giving players exactly the powers and abilities they want.
