Description

After spending his entire life tirelessly dedicated to medicine, our protagonist dies with the deep regret of never having fulfilled his dream of becoming a doctor and, above all, not having enjoyed his life. However, fate grants him a second chance by transmigrating his soul into the body of PJ Duncan, a teenager who has just moved with his family to a small town in Texas. In his new home, PJ finds himself surrounded by unique characters who will change his life forever. Among them is Sheldon Cooper, the genius son of the neighbors, whose intellect defies everyday logic. Additionally, PJ meets the enigmatic and brilliant Dr. Gregory House, a doctor whose unconventional skills and methods inspire him to pursue his old dream. In this new life, PJ must not only adapt to his environment and understand the dynamics of the Duncan family but also face the challenges of adolescence while trying to make the most of this second opportunity. With his previous knowledge and new friendships, PJ has the chance to rediscover the meaning of living fully and, perhaps, finally become the doctor he always wanted to be. This story stands out as one of my absolute favorites when it comes to TV show fanfiction. What really sets it apart is the way the mc is introduced and developed throughout the narrative. Unlike many fanfics where it feels like the author is forcing an original character into the world or awkwardly inserting them into key scenes just to give them importance, this one integrates the mc in a way that feels natural and seamless. The character doesn’t come across as overpowered or unrealistic, nor do they steal the spotlight from the original cast. Instead, their presence adds depth to the story and gives us fresh perspectives on familiar plotlines. It feels like they genuinely belong in the universe of the shows. The author clearly put a lot of thought into how this new character fits into the existing world, and the result is something that enhances the original material rather than detracting from it. The relationships that develop between the mc and the canon characters are believable, nuanced, and engaging. Whether it's in emotional moments, action scenes, or everyday interactions, the mc adds something meaningful every time they appear. Overall, it's just a very satisfying and well-crafted read that respects the source material while also bringing something new and compelling to the table. Highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys fanfiction done right.

This quickly became my comfort fic, the MC is a genuinely nice person and seeing him build relationships and excelling in life is fun. Even though he has social problems, but slowly his character develops.
This is first person POV so we don't get a word vomit about how incredibly cool MC is. However there are some limitations with this approach which leads more to be desired from other characters.

    But it does.
One thing I have found on this site is the weirder the fan fiction premise the more likely it works, and that certainly held true here. The author has blended many, many, many, different shows into one (mostly) cohesive world with a fun protagonist wandering through it. The characters feel fleshed out and the grammar seems good. All in all, this gets five stars from me.

It's truly exciting to see how you have intertwined multiple acclaimed comedy series, each considered among the best in its genre, into a single novel. While it may be somewhat lesser known, I would encourage all fans of Young Sheldon, Malcolm in the Middle, and Dr house to give this a read at least once.

As an avid reader of many genres (including a lot of fanfic) I think that this story's done something, many other fanfic's haven't. Great integration between the different TV shows & Movies it's inspired from, the relationships feel genuine and organic, whilst the plot is continually moving forward at beautiful speed. The story itself has many interesting sub-plots and foreshadowing alike. I cannot wait to read more, and I feel that overall Maximus Quill has improved from the start of the book, whilst keeping it's core values the same.

This fanfiction is unique and done well. Many fanfictions just retread the same things over and over with slight twists. They are fine, but ultimately they are forgettable unlike this fanfiction. It blends multiple slice of life dramas together quite well.
I think the MC is a bit immature and lacks planning. Also confused how he has so much free time to do everything, but those are minor complaints. The story is well written and makes sense. It is well written as well.
It might seem odd complaining in such a strong review, but this fanfiction is so good, the minor issues stand out much more than the usual fanfiction nonsense. I would say that a faster release rate would be nice in relation to the slow pace. It is nice that the author has kept it up for 2 years at the time of this review. But one chapter a week feels slow when compared to the speed of the story.
Things are set up long term. Since we are looking at Grey's Anatomy in the future. At the rate the fanfiction is going, it will go on another 20 years, which is fine since the author is chugging along.
Consider this review encouragement to keep going. You can do it! I want to get to the MC in medical school and in residency in Seattle.

Alright this story is probably the only tv drama fanfic I have ever gotten invested in that is actually good. It takes the main character and isekais him into Good Luck Charlie in the body of PJ, and instead of continuing on as PJ would do he carries his same passion for medicine he had in his last life. So much so that he sets out to improve his life and that of his new family under the guise of amnesia for any memories he doesn't have.
The story then branches off into other American tv dramas like Young Sheldon, Mean Girls, various sports movies, and House so far. I also like that the author really captures the essence of the characters from the show, so much so that I can hear them speak in my head as I am reading it.  And the interactions between them and the main character are very believable to their native canon story and he sorta just slides right in.
The only grip I have with it is some of the grammar when dealing with He/She and His/Her gender mistakes that are thankfully few and far between and can be easily forgiven due to it being just a quick proof read fix situation.
Honestly I highly recommend that you give this story a shot you will not be disappointed!!

Has been an enjoyable read kept me interested to binge it, good character development the chapters were pretty much always interesting a lot of "filler" chapters that help with character development and becoming attatched to the characters but done in a good way so its not annoying or boring great story overall.

A story about all the soap operas you know, and likely a few you dont. Intervowen in such a way that it feels almost seemless, but still very episodic. This creates a very binge-worthy series which already has many chapters. The Author and story deserves all the praise they can get.
