The story is an excellent read so far, though I’m leaving this review fairly soon after release. I look forward to many more chapters of Alaric’s rise to awesomeness!
The cultivation system is unique, which I like, and there’s obviously more to come. I also need about seven more words to finish the review. And it’s done!

I am very impressed with the writing skill and also with the research that went into this story. The knowledge of the chakras and the Vedas is excellent and I’m very happy to see this knowledge turned into a story. Especially in a story genre that I like so much. You definitely have to get this published once you complete the first book. It is wonderful to see the mysticism of India being represented so nicely in this book. It’s is sad that it’s mostly Buddhism that is the go to for many stories out there. It’s nice to see Hinduism and many of the mysteries and mysticism that has come out of that belief system represented in this book. And yes, I do know that what is represented in this book is only an adjunct to real Hindu mysticism.

Dunno why I never wrote a review about this novel before. It is absolutely peak. Do not question that. A brand new concept, rooted in tradition and mysticism. It's actually my first time seeing utilize the hindu spiritual system for actual physical prowess. It works, teaches us a lot about history and our own mind while keeping the story unique and creative.
Style score- 4/5. I like the story a lot and don't really see any problems with the style. Maybe not the best I've ever seen but very decent. Absolutely no complaints.
Grammar score- 5/5. Oh yeah you're gonna have no complaints in that department.
Story score- 5/5. Easily the best part of the novel. It is a very unique concept and I can't imagine the amount of effort required to pull it off. With absolutely no basis to build its foundation upon, it has done an absolutely wonderful job making the story engaging.
Character score-3.5/5. This could honestly use a bit of work according to me. Characters are 2d with not too many defining characteristics. Even with them, they just seem very surface level. Including the main character honestly.
Some tropes are overused, like the mc being underestimated by everyone and their mothers or just acting like complete morons. but ehh, not much else to complain.

....the growth of the MC to be quite interesting. I'm curious to see what the author has in store for how the MC will reach the peak of strength and what that will look like!
Cannot wait to read more, especially about the tower and his mother's side of the bloodline abilities.

It is so hard to find the good novels that are still going. Very glad to find this one. Keep it up, I love the pacing since it's annoying when the characters develop to fast since there is no tension and no reas9n for them to be so strong. The old I have to get strong for revenge ore something gets old rlly fast and getting strong to get strong is rlly nice in my opinion. The are no meddling gods or other characters that will influence the MC just pure cultivation to better themselves. Thank you and keep going. Do it in your pace and don't lose the story in what you want it to go. I don't want to lose another good novel for that reason

After having seen an author ad from this (The Last Heir which is another great read by the way) I decided to check it out.
I am not usually a fan of cultivation type stories, endless hunts for elixers or ingredients to make them, near constant swirling of this or that etc. However I was pleasantly surprised by how well the author handles everything. The strange mix of genres works very well while not leaning too heavily into the system or the cultivation. The characters are well written and make realistic choices while each having personalities that would make sense given their upbringing.
Binged 20 chapters day one and liked and followed after. Definitely recommend.

overall it does a good job with a reborn protagonist. so far it feels like the challenges are within the limits of a protagonist of that age (a little higher than a normal kid should deal with, but not so overblown that I want to murder the adults for letting the situation get anywhere near that level).
I just hope that the author keeps aging up the main character and it doesn't devolve into a wunder kid story.

This story strikes me as entirely "mid".
There is no great conflict, no personal vendetta, no grand love story, or whatever you may be looking for. All that exists over now 96 chapters is endless training, largely free of any stakes. There are no fleshed out supporting characters either.
Basically any story structure you may be looking for, whether character development or dramatic tension, is absent here.
All that remains is the various numbers that go up - on that  topic: The "system" is a hot mess too. Chakra stuff, body cultivation percentages, attribute scores, etc.
For your entertainment I would like to present a mildly unfair comparison:
    - According to the statistics section, this story currently has 729 pages, from 200621 words.
    - My EPUB version of "The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship Of The Ring" has 279 pages with 184000 words.
What does this tell us? My take away is that Senseofbeing is good at producing words, but not so good at crafting those words into a story.
All of this is roughly par for the course on Royalroad, so in the absence of anything repulsive I didn't want to give an overall score lower than half.

I think the author has a great concept and encourage him to keep writing. This is just some constructive criticism and help for other readers.
The main drawback is the dialogue and character depth. After a while I began scanning and skipping all dialogue and found no character depth to keep me engaged. It was simply difficult to care about any of the characters. I think this is just an aspect of this being an first or early draft of the story and hope the author will revise this in future drafts.
I loved the unique take on a system combined with cultivation. The creative implementation is what kept me going as far as I did. What stopped me was that the story was rarely based in the character's experience but summarized through bland descriptions. I just couldn't stay immersed in what was happening as I was always reading summaries or something like that.
I'd really encourage the author on the next draft to focus on telling the story through the experiences of characters with depth. Of course information has to be conveyed at times, which is necessary. However don't make the story a matter of conveying what happened in an informative way, let the reader experience it through the eyes of the characters so they can feel their struggles and victories rather than being informed on them.

I enjoyed the early chapters, but i have started skimming after a while. I dont feel a strong urge to continue. Still the author has a good head on their shoulders and I can see the story improving a lot in the future.
So far this story has all the cliches: overpowered master that reincarnated, anoyong nobles, multiple pov to show off just how cool the mc is, complicated magic system that mc blasts through. The mc at least mostly acts his age kinda.
The magic system is unnecessarily complicated. It feels like there are four systems mashed together in one. Chakra flowers, core condensation, body purification, and a litrpg system. No clue what they all do and whats the point of them but mc spends most of his time working on one systems or another. The author at least has the good sense of not bombarding us with status screens.
Unfortunately the system gloop is where the story is most well written. The dialogue in particular sounds stiff and unnatural. There is some over arching story going on in the background and I was waiting for it to seep more into the story but that hasn't happened that much.
