Synopsis:

Dr. Li Wei, a Vet leading a pretty dull life, has his world turned upside down when he accidentally walks through some kind of shimmering doorway. On the other side is an alien planet packed with creatures that literally shine with gold.

Li Wei's been struggling with money problems and wants something better for himself. At first, he's just amazed by this place. But then, the idea of getting rich takes over. The problem is, getting to that gold isn't easy. There's this weird gatekeeper guarding it, and Li Wei soon learns that all these golden animals are sick.

To figure out what's wrong with them and how he can cash in, Li Wei has to team up with a strange wizard who lives in the mountains. This partnership sends him into the land of the dead, where he learns some seriously weird magic and gets his hands on some crazy, powerful weapons from another world.

Now he's armed and knows a lot more than he did before, Li Wei's ready to head back to that golden planet. But can he really control all this new power he has? And can he resist the temptation of all that wealth without getting himself into some serious trouble?
