Description

Kade, perpetually driven by curiosity, could hardly resist the allure of the mysterious purple crystal. He would insist it wasn't his doing, but his own steps led him steadily toward the chaotic whirlwind that had ensnared countless others. However, Kade was not one to surrender in the face of adversity. With his newfound connection to the system and unwavering resolve, he refused to let misfortune be his end—at least for now.

At first, i was excited about progression storybwith stats about a vampire and loved it. Then i didnt jibe well with the animation of health bar and the status screen but now that i have comoleted the whole arc 1, i live where the story is going and cant wait for more.
Its what i want from these kinds of stat based story.

This fiction is, well, incredibly entertaining. Two people who are sharing the braincell sometimes on an adventure, cursing, teasing and killing along the way. Kade is a treat, with his bravery and naivety making him very endearing to me. Abble tells it how it is until she doesn't because telling it how it isn't is more fun.
The system aspect is more a plot device and background piece, with the main conflicts being "not dying" and character's growth and relationships to eachother.
Worth the read for sure!

I loved everything about book 1 and can't wait for some chapters to binge through for book 2 :)
It's exceptionally well written and I love the characters. Kade is an awesome protagonist. He has a ton of room to grow into as a hero, but I can generally relate to him and understand where he's coming from.
The stat progression has been bit slow for me so far, but I have a feeling this will be addressed soon, considering where book 1 left things off :)

I checked out this one after reading KoolCatz's other work, and I think I like this one a bit more. MC is more likeable.
The author knows how to create an interesting supporting cast and does the protagonist with evil powers set up competently. Worldbukding is great , author is rather good at setting it up. While the release pace means that it will take a while, and the first part of the story was a bit slower, once things picked up it got better.
Writing is good, grammer about RR standard - so expect some second draft errors but nothing significant enough to mess up flow for most.
A lot of promise here and I look forward to following this one.
