Ps:- This is my first attempt to writing a story on any platform. I just wanted to give this a try. I have read quite a few Chinese Novels and this story is my attempt at the genre. I welcome all criticisms.

I thought I'd spent enough time perusing RR using the advanced search options to have found every half-decent story with enough content to be worth reading. I only even gave this story a chance, even with it's awful synopsis (seriously author, might want to change that, "child of plane" being the first line is the type of grammar that stops people from reading further) because it was 1 am and I was very bored. It's now 7 am, I am on chapter 72, and while I'm going to pass out fairly soon I couldn't let myself forget to write a review and give my thanks to the author. Thanks author! Now on to the review:
Style: This is the author's first time writing a story, and it kinda shows, but not in a bad way. The style of narration, story pace, and story timeline can change pretty drastically between chapters, but there's almost always a reason for it. One chapter may start ahead of where the last story ended time-wise, and instead of an info-dump or flashback the story just jumps back to those events, and knowing how they will play into the story makes it a more interesting read. Also, there are infrequent side character POVs that at first seem to be just for character-building, but always come back to advance the plot in surprisingly relevant and meaningful ways.
Grammar: Not much to say, not perfect, some typos, some weirdly phrased or named things, but waaaaay better than in the synopsis. Seriously, author, please fix it.
Character: OP western-xianxia mc, but not a self-righteous face-slapper with impenetrable plot armour. The author also avoids another character pitfall common in the genre of characters being introduced once, then only mentioned in passing, or falling off the map entirely. Side characters and relationships are introduced gradually, but as the mc is characterized as single-minded in his pursuit to change the future it makes sense that making friends isn't his top priority, although that and other character developments happen naturally but slowly.

I quite like this story. It may feel a little uninteresting or boring in the beginning but the writer has improved his writing style and is still improving.
The plot may seem fastpaced at the beginning as in MC is becoming stronger too fast but if you read on you will find that the world is a lot bigger and the pacing slows down a bit later.
The worldbuilding is very good. The writer has made an effort to make sure he does not turn chapters into infodumps so no problems here.
I see no problems in the MCs personality. Don't get turned off by his old personality he becomes a lot better after his reincarnation. The other characters aren't focused on too deep but they aren't cardboard cutouts either. They all have their own thoughts, reasons, schemes and their interactions are believable too.
Again I will suggest you don't drop the story too early as it becomes more interesting later. I like this story and am looking forward to more

This story is an unusual example on how a back to past :cultivator story may happen.
contrarily to usual, the MC was already the pinnacle of his continent's talent in the previous live
thus, it is one of the rare back to past stories where the MC starts "lower" than in his previous life...
however he brought back with him knowledge and tempering to change his fate.
Michael's story is as interesting as he is overbearing but without carelessness.
The worldbuilding grows with each dozen of chapters, going from "global" background to very local geopolitics to empire-wide politics to continent wide and interrace exchanges... and then we see that the world his much larger that even what the MC knew at beginning (ie: at end of his first life)
The 2nd line characters are a lacking a bit, but not too much. While there are still 2 women, 1 friend, 2 mentors and 2 servants which are a bit fleshed out, the story is still heavily narrated around the MC so those could profit from a little bit of work.
all in all a satisfaying read.
edit at chap 107: still good still a rush when reading all chapters.
The MC's character improved a lot ; the land increased a lot, the MC in th eprevious life was really a tiny fish in a tiny pond surrounded by tinier fishs..
only issues (for me) is the 2nd line characters that are not much more fleshed out. Or at least, those that are fleshed out are somehow taken out of the current life of the MC... the MC seems really alone. (a bit sad for me, but might be good for other)

Western-themed world with xianxia cultivation seems like a pretty interesting combination and I really liked how the story initiated which bring my hopes up for a good xianxia plot which expands up to the universe lord level.
Right now characters seems a bit shallow and I hope the author will bring them more depth as the story moves.
I really want to see how the story develops in the future as I fell this is going to be a long cultivation plot which goes out of the home planet of the protagonist.

So to summarise this book without spoiling too much, it is a western wuxia genre (western names and tropes yet a wuxia power system) where the MC has been sent back in time to prevent a great tragedy and he is doing his best to ensure when it does come he can fight it off.
    On the actual review:
First off, the MC is very OP. This might be a turn off for some, but I personally think it is understandable, as his strength makes sense (he gets the best resources and techniques) and its logical + compared to many other beings in the story he is nowhere near their level of power (yet). Even among his 'generation' there are people much stronger in him in certain areas as they have advantages he does not possess.
Second, time skips. There are quite a few time skips already, but they are very well used and keep the reader engaged (right when you are getting a little bored of some of his actions BAM 2 years later and bunch of new stuff).
Third, characters. Most of the big characters in the novel have logical personalities, and while the story focuses almost entirely on the MC (which I prefer) the POV and opinions of other characters are clearly shown and sound in their reasoning (this is a wuxia book, but there is very little of the constant jealousy BS - it's there, but the people in the background have brains in this book).
Fourth "romance + emotions". There is little focus on the emotions/romance where I am at, but when it does occur it really makes sense and its clearly explained, especially for people who are familiar with the wuxia genre, (ex: oh I am very wary of this person and I do not want to fight, but I cannot stand back in this situation as it is not my way even if i realise how stupid this is).
I will update/change this review as I read more, but for right now this is a very good book and i highly suggest giving it a read!

I can honestly say that the author's writing has improved by leaps and bounds. The more chapters you read the more drawn into the story you are. No doubt the writer CAN get better (I honestly think they will). Kudos to Ankit and apart from some earlier prevalent typos and grammar errors, so far so good. Anticipating for more.

Western wuxia setting, and it has it's pros and cons.
But I was really pissed after reading through (I only read stories that are not harem) and baam comes the harem.
Tag the story as 'Harem' properly and send me a PM, I will update my review. Because other than that I think the story is average and deserves 3.5 stars.
edit: review updated as author tagged properly

On an Island, insignificant to most, the main character, a martial arts cultivator, was spat back in time.
They say no man is an island, and this is especially true for the main character as he forges bonds that stretches to other lands and peoples. Eventually he will most likely reach the level of one that sent him back and that one's significant other.
This novel might be on hiatus, but it's at a good place to pause the story. It's worth checking out if you like imagining kicking butt on a beautiful island
