Description

A Princess of evil in a dying Kingdom who is in love, a bodyguard of good and noble spirit whose love for her in turn s as great as his blindness to her hidden darkness... War promises to burn the world they know down around them, leaving only one path.  To run.  To hide. To flee the horrors of war in the hopes of survival.  Princess Deirdre Fomorisa however, has an edge.  She is an unrivalled genius, underestimated by all those around her, she has carefully laid out a plan to ensure she and the only one in the world she values, not only escape, but find a way to return to power.

But there are things even the greatest of evil geniuses cannot account for.

The work of Speranzi Jadara and the blood sacrifice of the dark city of Wenmark has born fruit.  The Last God, Ziusandre of the Tovenari has returned.  In command of demons, undead, and bearing the wealth of a divine city at his call, his ancient city has appeared in the endless enchanted forest that borders the Auxkos Empire and the dying Kingdom of Gaelia.

Into this mix of chaos and horror, the new God threatens to overturn everything of the old order and step into the sight of the world once again, offering a path to power for those who are wise enough to bend the knee as the Mother of Terror in the west has done.In the pages that follow, you will be reading the unfolding first draft in the 3rd volume of the series 'Who Conquers'.

Another excellent story by the highly talented Mr. Butler! Who Conquers is a prequel story to his Who Endures story and is yet another great story with fantastic characterization, amazing world building and a plot that is absolutely enthralling!
This story is well put together as far as grammar, spelling and punctuation is concerned. The characterization is detailed and really adds great depth to the story. The plot is sometimes complex in that the story will bounce from one character's substory line to another from one chapter to the next, but in my opinion, this just adds to the enjoyment of the story as we don't just get one character's viewpoint, but those of many different characters, thus also adding even more depth to the story.
In short, this is a highly entertaining tale that will keep your interest and keep you eagerly wanting more!
I eagerly await each new chapter as I am thoroughly enjoying how this fantasy tale will develop.

I feel it would be better if you give the adventurer team more member than just 4. And they should have complex job, since this version of REK is in even worse state, and this version of renner is already tough/strong without prior buildup.
Also, I think there should be some link to this version of RHK and Neia, since the god who appear out of nowhere can be jarring to new reader.
