The story is cohesive, the characters likeable - but I never feel like the main character hand waves problems away. The idea that the main character is already all powerful but consistently dialing things down to enjoy the smaller things in life (and hopefully finding meaning along the way I assume) really resonates, and I enjoy every chapter. In addition to all that, im never walking away confused by random potentially story altering exposition that never gets expounded on. Great read!

This story is very well written and entertaining. There are a few editing misses, but nothing that interrupts the story. You can tell the story has so much to give and it’s still just beginning. I’m very excited to see where the story goes, especially with how much backstory details have been interwoven into the current story being told.

I really enjoy stories like this. Ones that tell you what happened next. What happened after the battles, the fighting and the dieing. What happened to the one who risked it all, sacrificed almost everything? And this sounds like the answer, they'd open an inn or a pub or a restaurant. Something that let's them finally take joy in the small things, in a situation where a mistake might mess up a meal rather than doom a city

This story is an amazing slice of life that, unlike many slice of life stories, handles adversity and action exceedingly well. Such things aren't ignored or absent from the story, merely not the main focus, and that is much appreciated. Life does, of course, contain adversity and strife on occasion.
Style - 5/5 - The pace isn't painfully slow, nor is it proceeding at a blistering pace. It's comfortable, cozy, and progressing steadily. Pacing aside, the content and style of writing is familiar and cozy, not disjointed and never feels forced. The author is exceptional at showing rather than telling.
Story - 5/5 - While the concept of an experienced adventurer retiring to the slow life isn't a wildly new idea, the execution of it in this case has been phenomenal. The story is engaging, leaving breadcrumbs for the discerning reader to follow but not force-feeding blocks of exposition or engaging in the ever-feared act of telling rather than showing. New revelations are revealed slowly and often, hints that had been dropped earlier are expanded upon and explained. Extremely satisfyingly well done.
Grammar - 5/5 - Impeccable grammar. I have zero complaints here. Enough said.
Character - 5/5 - The characters possess agency and arent shoe-horned into specific roles, which I greatly appreciate. They feel like living, breathing characters complete with faults and talents. Even side characters are fleshed out and humanized, not left in the background to rot or speaking as if they're soulless automatons. The more frequently appearing characters are steadily building rapport with both reader and the main characters, endearing them to us and showcasing how well-written the character development continues.
All in all, this is currently one of my favorite stories I'm reading here, and I look forward to many more chapters in the future. The adventures and mentoring of future adventurers-to-be we experience as we read further will surely be delightful!

This is the kind of slice of life you smile at as you read. It has moments where you'll see i to the MCs troubled past and moments where you can almost imagine yourself right there enjoying the moment. The action is good when it appears and its just the right kind of badass. 5/5

Absolutely loving the story so far — it’s cozy, relaxed, and exactly the kind of good vibes I need right now. I was half-expecting the private walkway to town to have some strange plants Shallies could use in her cooking 😄 but hey, she’s already got plenty of odd loot and time to grow whatever she wants! The characters are so charming, and I’m really excited to learn more about the Godkiller’s past and Apple — she’s such a cutie! 💖 Can’t wait to see where the story goes next!

First time leaving a review. This seems important to the writer so here I go. I’m not a literature expert and English is my second language, so I’ll talk about the feelings I get from the story. It feels comforting like that old blanket your mother gave you while you were a child. Initially I had fear that such an overpowered character would ruin the sauce, but the way you address it makes it run smoothly. This is now one of the story i follow and appreciate the most. Thank you!

A wonderfull story of a workaholic trying to take a break. Just finds more work for herself. The story is also interesting and of a sort l have not come across before. Enjoying it immensely and looking forward to where it leads us in the future. The characters are interesting in themselves and am liking the magic system.

The beginning was so slow I skipped through quite a bit and felt like dropping it at times.
It ends up picking up and becomes good eventually. Once she gets more established in town and takes on the apprentices among some other plot points. The world building is fine. There's a decent ensemble of characters. The magic is neat. The MC is OP/secret identity which I am weak to.
I don't really have any other complaints after it being slow, so I don't really have anything to say.
    Thank you for writing!

Author starts with an interesting twist to the OP MC premise and begins the story with a comforting slice of life story of somebody looking to retire. Loses focus within a few chapters and starts incorporating other aspects such as taking apprentices which detracts from story. Litrpg elements seems overly complex and not well explained.
