In a world where almost everyone multi-classes, a female changeling is tormented by her tragic past. A rogue foremost, she also has skills as a fighter and a bard. And they serve her well as she undertakes dark, bloody missions for her brother, the BBEG. Her brother is the one person she has left out of all her family. She loves him and her loyalty to him supersedes almost all other boundaries. There is almost nothing she wouldn’t do for him.He’s on a mission to take over the world. She’s on a mission to take down all opposition. She’s his personal assassin. And she does her work well.But things start going awry when her brother sends her on a reconnaissance mission, telling her not to assassinate the target yet, but to befriend the paladin that is their greatest enemy.But she finds that over time a false friendship built on lies can become a real friendship when the truth is made known, and that betrayal can hurt the traitor more than the one being betrayed.She even finds that friendship… can turn to love.Can she guard her heart and follow through with her mission? Or will she be torn between love for her brother and love for someone she’d have married in another life?
