Description

The chapter introducesNyra Vex, a lethal assassin who stalks the shadows of the ruined city ofDraalokk. While tracking a high-value cult target, she’s drawn into a deeper mystery when she crosses paths withKaelen Thorne, the scarred warrior introduced in Chapter 1.

At first, they clash—Nyra mistaking Kaelen for an enemy agent. But their fight is interrupted when the ground beneath Draalokktrembles, and spectral wraiths rise from the ash.

The two are forced into an uneasy alliance, fighting back-to-back to survive the supernatural onslaught. Kaelen’s glowing red sword and Nyra’s twin daggers make short work of the wraithspawn—but it becomes clear: something deeper is waking in the ruins.

As the final wraith dissolves into ash, Nyra studies Kaelen warily and asks him what he’s doing in a place “buried in war and memory.”

Kaelen answers with only one word:

“Zaul’Tor.”
