- GamadaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Turnabout Teardown is, I must say, quite a ride.
Based on FNF lore, I dived in headlong, not knowing anything about FNF myself.
You would think this was foolish. In truth, I really apreciated the read (and still do!).
The POV somewhat flips everything on its head, with a second personn view of the events. This makes the approach, I find, really direct and gripping.
The style is quite good. In truth, it does not delve deep in exposition, instead throwing the reader in the world with no safety net. It remains surgical and sharp, carrying the story quite efficiently.
Now that we're at it, let's talk about the story! Who doesn't love a good old fahsionned tale of corruption? A cop, fashioned into a knight in sour armor, turns into a unstoppable force, adamant in getting vindication! The very noir atmosphere is just icing on the cake, at this point.
And the character, well, the characters are pretty good. Although I put five stars more because I love the little doodles describing them than anything else, but what can I say? I like doodles.
The grammar is sometimes a bit lacking, but it's nothing an edit spree can't fix -wink wink nudge nudge- as Odaocer is quite cooperative.
All in all, a very interesting read YOU should check out.
Do it. Do it now.
