A MC and author that follows the Dao of Shamelessness. Jam packed with humour that will make you giggle like you are a shy maiden. Almost as shamelessly as Ocean Song from the Percy Jackson fanfiction. Xanxia insanity that will keep you at the edge of your seat and make you hold your pee in. I found this story and binge read the whole chapters available. The sleepiness next day were worth it. Read it or your life purpose have no meaning beyond working till you reach retirement age and slowly waiting to died of old age hoping you go before you shit your own pant.

This is my new favourite RR novel, full of my favourite cliches, tropes and a certain kind of fun loving transmigrating MC that takes his fortune in his stride defying the heavens with his own brand of humour and wisdom. The chapters are well written and reasonably polished which is really encouraging. 5/5 for what this story was sold as to what it actually is blew me away. Looking forward to more from this author.

    I'm really enjoying it
    The story is evolving
The main character seems to slowly be assembling a cast of Heroes, I'm looking forward to seeing what this band of Heroes finally turns out to be like

Make sure not to read this in a public place because Feng Fan's antics will have you laughing out loud and everyone will look at you weird. He's a mind reading deceiving thieving gambling degenerate with a terminal fear of jade beauties. I mean what more can you ask for in a MC

Thus far it's been an entertaining ride with its own amount of special scenes and different simple yet well-thought-out plot points and twists with a rhythm that make the world feel rather lively.
The comedy, especially, is incredible. I don't know if I just vibe with this type of writing but I've found myself often laughing out loud, loudly reacting and slapping my knees at least thrice, while consuming chapters like popcorn.
I find myself eagerly waiting for the next chapters to come.

    Beta reader here!
The MC is exactly the kind of guy who’d proudly call himself “shameless.” His brain is half-fried from xianxia brain rot, he’s way too confident in his cheat ability… and honestly, that shamelessness is the best part. I laughed a lot, and on top of that, his journey is genuinely fun. I’m definitely continuing.
Story-wise, the author clearly thinks things through. The pacing is solid, and I never felt bored because there’s always something happening. I’m also really curious where the plot is going to take him.
Power-wise, his ability feels fresh. Mind-reading in a xianxia setting opens up so many fun angles: bribing his way out of trouble, manipulating people (for sure), and always squeezing the best possible outcome for himself.
Grammar-wise, I didn’t spot anything major. If there are any mistakes, blame the author, not me as a beta reader 😄
Character-wise… what do you expect? He’s shameless, and that’s the whole point.
If you enjoy xianxia and you’re okay leaning into the genre’s logic, give it a try. You won’t regret it, and you’ll get plenty of laughs along the way. The author clearly cooked something special, and you can tell he’s an avid xianxia reader.

This story is the holy grail of books. So far, hoping the author doesn't mess it up and there's no signs as if yet.
Comedy in this will have you bust out laughing if you aren't a corpse. It flows with the story so it's not forced or natural.
Cultivation system and main story is great, better then most that serious stories.
This book does something totally unique that almost all other authors fail in. The morals, ethics, and behaviors of the characters match the fantasy world. For those confused, many authors impose modern ideas on characters when it doesn't match the world or go the whole other direction with total debauchery.
Author is also able to use all the tropes generally seen with a genuinely unique and fun twist. Which is great because the normal tropes get boring and stories that avoid them usually fail to be good because the author sacrafices the story just to deliberately avoid them.
Story flows naturally, meaning there's no parts where a character does things out of place just because the plot needed them to.

The MC is more than genre savvy, he is a clever trickster with a silver dagger for a tongue. If you like cultivation stories and Anansi-esque characters with can-do outlook on life look no further. The man spawned in with a broken dantian, zero cultivation, a rapidly degrading social situation, and thought "nah, I got this."  He is the protagonist of course. So he was right, but he really gives the impression that in a different story, even without the cheat, he might channel his roguish charm and maybe a little luck to get by anyway.
