I'm currently at chapter 7 and I was just wanted to say now what I've been thinking since the beginning: just wow, the wording of the story of beautifully done.
It really feels like I can 'see' what's happening in the story through your words alone. I'm more of a manga reader, though I still read books often. But hopping from reading manga, where there are pictures drawn and they show you what's happening, to reading a book, where you just have to rely on the words alone to imagine this world, can be a bit tough at times. For this story however, what the character is doing (small things like how they're posed or a small action they're doing when sitting idly) feels real and like I'm in this world seeing them do this. Like in chapter 7 which I just read, the whole chapter did such a great job at making you feel the atmosphere of this new, unfamiliar world; describing not only the sights of this new world but the feel of the ground, the feel of the air, and the smell of this place, I really do enjoy details like these. I know it's a bit of a small thing to mention but I just wanted you to know that I appreciate the extra work you put in to make this world feel alive.
    Keep it up

Just finished Chapter 6, and I wanted to share a few thoughts.
First off, I really like the tone you’ve set so far. The worldbuilding is rich and handled with care—there’s a lot of lore in this chapter (Aetherworld, Velmara, Altinium…), but it flows smoothly through the dialogue. That’s not easy to do, especially when balancing action with explanation, and you pulled it off in a way that kept me engaged without feeling overwhelmed.
The characters also have a grounded, human feel. I appreciated the small emotional touches—like the moment the MC decides not to ask about their pasts yet. It makes him feel real, and gives some weight to the quieter moments. You’ve built tension without rushing it, and the vibe of mystery around Griemore is working really well.
That said, I’m still early in the story (only at Chapter 6 lol) so this may shift later, but I felt like the second half of the chapter leaned heavily into exposition. Everything you’re explaining is interesting, and necessary, but maybe breaking it up with a surprise, a bit more tension, or an emotional beat would keep the flow sharper.
But again, I get that this is a setup phase, and it’s actually promising to see how much care you’re putting into laying down the foundation. I’m curious to see where it goes next, especially now that the scope is expanding beyond the Overworld.
Nice work so far, looking forward to the next chapters :)

A magical academy, coming of age, rites of passage type tale with a potentially complex story arc that has fifth column elements to it. In the most part pretty well written, enough so that I found myself wanting to read 'just one more chapter' before going to sleep, always a sign of a good book. The story is mostly a first person narration but has a few M.P.V. other than the MC's that help the tale along. The story has a couple of particularly well written fight scenes that I really enjoyed and I look forward to reading more.
On the whole I would definitely recommend reading the story, if you do decide to read it the comments section is sparse, so dropping a few Tyftc's would probably be well received.
