To Walk The Red Path {A Story of Dungeon Crawling and Revenge}

Description
A Dungeon. A Death Sentence. A Way Out... Maybe. Jeremy Wilkins didn’t ask to be shoved into a hidden dungeon portal by his mean, stoner older brother. But now he’s trapped inThe Children’s Dungeon, where the monsters and traps have sharp teeth, and the dungeon system expects him to survive with nothing but a “Child” class and a single point of mana. Every floor is worse than the last. The enemies more dangerous. The allies rarer. The betrayals worse. Jeremy must follow the Red Path through seven floors filled with traps, puzzles, and child-eating nightmares to get out— while growing strong enough to fight his way out of the dungeon. But every step forward means losing a little more of what makes him human. What to expect. Weak-to-strong with detailed stat progression. Classic dungeon crawling. Puzzles, survival mechanics. Skills that evolve through use and experience. Dark themes, betrayal, and real consequences. Slow, progressive power growth. A snarky system and dark humor. No profanity. Lots of violence. Note. The cover art is AI. This cover is temporary until I find something better. This is a revised, completed version of The Children's Dungeon that I posted previously.

however, be aware that it can be dark at times.
It explores the idea of a System-integrated multiverse, where many worlds have access to a game like interface that guides them. Specifically, the concept of Dungeons, and a dungeon that exclusively admitted children.
It has a strong writing style, with excellent pace and rhythm to the writing. Each chapter flows fluidly without leaving the reader starving for details.
from a lack of direction beyond the basic concept of getting stronger so that Jeremy can protect his world and his mother, given that his older brother is a dirtbag. However, that is not an attraction from the story if you go into it expecting a determination fueled grind to the top that is written excellently and inspiring. The only major short falling of the story is the breath of characters. Throughout most of the story up until this point we have only received side characters that while receiving some flushing out, are not allowed to be given any true depth of character or development. Admittedly, this is the result of a story that uses the theme of isolation and a loss of the childhood innocence that is found in making new friends. However, despite it being unavoidable as to the nature of the story, it is still something that is missing as the only persistent supporting characters that persist without disappearing for stretches or entirely are fairly one dimensional.
overall, the story is a delight to read, and I eagerly wait for each new chapter. If you are looking for a gritty rise to strength from unassuming main character, and a realistic depiction of how a young boy would rise to overcome challenges and defy odds, then this is the story for you. - Nahom eliasRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Really amazing story and plot! Your writing truly stands out and deserves recognition - One Winged AngelRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0An absolute unit of a story. Numbers go up - oh my do they go up - But the story is at its core about personal development. MC Grows from a frightened child to a force of nature in a way that is credible and engrossing.
World building is wonderful and the concept of the children’s dungeon a unique horror twist. I love a good weak to strong story and this delivers in spades. - PKLRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A really good novel in dungeon crawling genre and enjoyed it very much I really think it is under appreciated. And deserve much higher appreciation than it has gotten.
For this who want to know I finished this novel in just over two days all 76 chapters of it that much this novel hooked me. - That_Hat_Man666Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I admit I was a little skeptical going into the story do to the MC's age, but honestly the author handles it really well. The main character feels believably young, without making it feel like I'm reading a children's story. Their development also makes sense, and is both satisfying and interesting to read.
The dungeon itself is pretty unique too. The challenges the MC faces are different - it's not just slop of fighting a big monster the same way over and over again.
Anyways, the story deserves more attention. Read it! - Trifid_NebulaRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5In the Children‘s Dungeon, candy is
poison,
toys are
bombs,
and school teaches you wrong spelling and how to not get your
arms cut off.
The latter of which, I guess, might be useful.
But even then, it‘s not the dungeon that poses the greatest danger.
It‘s the Mean Kids! and their followers. The ones who see their fellow adventurers as stepping stones in the best case, or as vermin, to be played with and disposed of in the worst case.
Who to trust is not always obvious. But sometimes it‘s the only way to survive and still keep your humanity. Or at least to keep something similar.
It‘s no wonder one of the most important stats in the Children’s Dungeon is
Trauma Resistance.
