To Be Among the Stars

Description
Eli Kiln was a member of the strict and powerful Kiln family, known for their magical abilities and adherence to tradition in the Elvian Kingdom. However, Eli had always struggled with magic and felt like an outsider in his own family. As he sat in a small grove near the city's entrance, he envied the stars, wishing he could sleep peacefully through the day like they did.
But his peaceful thoughts were interrupted by a guard knocking on his door and handcuffing him, taking him away without explanation. When he woke up, he found himself in a small, dimly lit room with concrete walls and no windows or other exits. His wrists were shackled to the wall and he had no idea how long he had been there or why he was being held.
Eventually, a tall, slender elf with piercing green eyes and white hair entered the room and accused Eli of treason against the Elvian Kingdom and the Kiln family. He was accused of possessing forbidden magic, which could be used to overthrow the current government and establish a new regime. Eli protested his innocence, but he was taken back to his cell, filled with confusion and fear about his future. He knew he needed to find a way to clear his name and prove his innocence, but he wasn't sure how.

- Will_MAK1Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I found the work quite interesting. I felt as lost as the protagonist, but now I'm curious to know if he will achieve his innocence. Oh, and I already realized I'm not going to like that elf much; he's one of those villains who are truly evil, and that makes you angry. However, I found the work very interesting and peculiar because the protagonist has, I think, forbidden magic, and he keeps looking at the stars, which is supposed to be a place opposite to dark magic or something like that.
