When a group of mismatched companions; a fierce half-orc named Grusk, the wily rogue Steban, brave yet reckless Samuel, scholarly Robin, and the pragmatic warrior-sorcerer Jerrix, leave the safety of the humble tobacco-farming village of Fethrin, they find themselves swept into events far beyond their simple mission to escape conscription. Unearthing sinister secrets in ancient necropolises, confronting goblin raiders orchestrated by shadowy forces, and stumbling upon old enchantments hidden beneath the very roots of their world, they quickly discover that their fate is entwined with Wardor’s oldest mysteries.

Meanwhile, a dwarf cleric named Torrek follows whispers from the Earth Father, leading him to discover unsettling connections between undead rising from the marshes and strange corruption seeping into the heart of the land itself. Alongside the elven druid Lo'ren and his fierce wife Fi’ery, Torrek uncovers hidden truths that threaten to fracture the realm.
