The Void Warden

Humanity has reached the stars, over the last few hundred years they have encountered other sapient alien species and formed a great Union.  The Sapient Congressional Union.  The years have not been kind to the SCU however, and the goal of peace and unity has slowly been abandoned in the face of the immutable flow of time.  Amongst this pervasive decay are the many large cities spread across the colonised planets of the Union.  On the world of Jarillo, in the megacity of Cheenha, crime runs rampant and even the forces of the militarized police are nearly incapable of maintaining peace and order.  Amongst all this pervasive corruption and crime, there are those that do the dirty work in the name of justice.  These void wardens are often powerful individuals that work around the edge of the law without crossing it, usually.

When the world if so full of darkness, even the light of a single candle can be blinding.
