Over time, Kilter has stopped trying to blend in, instead embracing the strange rhythm of her own existence. She is about to embark on a journey where she will learn that she’s not meant to be part of the pattern—she’s meant to change it.

Her oddness has made her live in the cusps of society, but it has also made her resilient, sharp, and overtly aware of the cracks in existence that most people aren’t aware of. And now, as reality unravels—time twists, logic frays, and order gives way to chaos—those cracks are spreading. Something is pulling the worlds off their axes, and no one seems to notice. No one except Kilter and the secret society she’s whisked off to, that is.
