Description

I died and reincarnated as the Devil. Well… not the actual Devil, but something close enough:Count Valen Ashmoor. In the novel I read years ago, Valen was a political monster.A noble with a large private army. A reputation made in manipulation. And so many enemies that it would be easier to count his allies. Now I’m him.Worse? All my fiancées want me dead. Romantic, right? To survive, I’ll need to navigate court politics, dodge assassins, and somehow figure out the plot to this unfinished story.Small issue: The original Valen was cruel, manipulative, and feared.I am… not prepared. But my new goals are simple:Don’t get murdered.Don’t accidentally act like the old me.Don’t let my fiancées figure out I have no idea what I’m doing. In this novel's world, villains don’t get redemption arcs. We get graves. And I really, really don’t feel like dying twice. What to Expect: -Slow-Burn Harem Romance, with each FMC having a lot of development, depth, and... craziness - A story placed in an unfinished novel - MC that tries to fix his 'Villainous' reputation and survive his second life. - Each Chapter between 1.5k - 2k words Schedule: M - W - F Read up to 50 chapters (including extra chapters) on myPatreon!

Okay, let’s be real for a second. When I saw the title, I expected another generic “reincarnated as a bad guy” story where the MC is suddenly a saint and everyone loves him for no reason. This is not that story.
If you are looking for a story with actual emotional maturity, high-stakes political tension, and a protagonist who is trying so hard to be a better man that his own body literally fights him, you need to read this.
The “I Can Fix Him” energy (But He Is Fixing Himself) Valen is a lot. He is tall, he is terrifying, and he has a reputation for being a literal monster. But the way the author writes his internal struggle is excellent. It is not just “oh, I am a good guy now.” It is him having a physical headache because he is trying to be polite to a maid. You can feel the weight of his past sins pressing down on him. When he says, “I am a villain, not a monster,”  ouuuuuu
The Bath Scene is Character Growth at its Finest I have to talk about the scene with Anna. In any other LitRPG, this would have been a cringey fanservice moment. But here, it was actually beautiful. Valen realized that Anna was only offering herself because she felt she owed him for being “kind.” The way he shut it down because he wanted her to have agency and not just be a “service” was the moment I fell in love with this version of Valen. It was so respectful and emotionally intelligent that it made my heart ache.
The Elowen Slow-Burn 😭 Elowen is my absolute favorite. She is a priestess, she is mourning her dying mother, and she has every reason to hate Valen. Their dynamic is so tense you could cut it with a knife. The ending of the current batch , where Valen offers to pay for six months of dragon hearts just to give her mother a chance, actually made me tear up. It is not just a romantic gesture; it is a massive sacrifice that proves he is putting her needs above his own survival.
The Lore and the “Biblical” Horror Can we talk about the Feralium beasts? Elowen’s Angel (Dahlia) is a tw

I love the thrill of reading each h chapter. It is exciting! The characters all have a personality. There is life in each character. I love it! The power system is just being introduced but it’s new. The plot is fresh and enjoyable to read. A lot of foreshadowing! This is a true author here. This is a story with a plot. Please keep up the great work, and fantastic grammar!

I'm a sucker for this kind of story, but this one in particular is well done. All of the characters we've met so far feel like real people, which is more than I can say for many stories on this site. The main conflict seems to be intelligently designed, although it is a little early to see how the whole thing will play out. All in all, I would recommend if you found the description interesting, give it a try!

If you like well thought out relationship development, Witty banter and unexpected twists. Then this is a story that I think just about anyone would enjoy. Just excuse the plot armour I have a feeling it's intentional what with the MC being trapped in a poorly written story to begin with. As is mentioned a few times. It's really great.

I like the  premise but fiddling between 9 fiances will be too much, i do not know how the author is going to pull it off ,the mc seems decent considering the image that is built around the previous owner of the body being a monstrous, evil, calculating , power hungry , manipulative, wicked and  inhuman person, he doesn't need to completely change how he handled interaction with other characters like his second fiance's family even when they were being blatantly rude to him , it's fine to be a better person but he must also remind people that there are consequences to the way they treat him (nothing too extreme like killing their whole family bloodline , he just need to instill fear with his word as to what he is capable of doing considering his image ),i really enjoy the dialogues between the mc and his 1st  fiance,I hope to see more ;)

It looks like a decent story but sadly the MC is a bit too big of a wuss for me. Or maybe he just like getting walked all over him.
His first fiance literally stabbed him and yes it was during a carriage accident, but it happened because she had a blade to his throat for insulting his summoned beast. And he basically laughs it off. This one i can understand because woman was a fiance of the villain long before MC took over his body...
Then there is also that  summoned beast which is another piece of work who extorts him for dragon hearts and if she doesnt get it she insults him. And he basically takes it because she will give him magical powers. BTW from what I understood this bond is for life....
We also get to meet a second fiance who makes a hot coffee spill all over MC during their first meeting after which he need a healer for the burns on his body. And our guy goes ah politics I really cant do anything... Seriously u brought an army to help them quell a rebellion for her hand in marriage. It's quite infuriating. This is basically a house on their last leg which went to the stories villain for help and u cant say fuck you then they literally attack u?

I like the premise this kind of stories are my guilty pleasure  but for the love of God can you do somthing about the mc .
The Devil, the Monster, the Feared Count… or maybe just a doormat ? Because no one seems to fear this so called monstrous villain, with presumably a "large" army under him. Everyone either spits in his face or outright threatens to kill him. If you’ve built your reputation and power on politics fear and manipulation, people should be smiling to your face while scheming behind your back not the other way around, and definitely not treating you like a bug beneath them.
And the dragon hearts problem needs fixing just change it to mana crystals or somthing more believable(affordable?) Somthing that doesn't make dragon sounds like rabbits
I will come back sometime to see where this goes.

The story is fine if you turn your brain off, but any deeper thought about it will reveal that it makes no sense. The MC is supposed to be both a powerful villain and noble in the story, but he allows himself to be dragged along into the dumbest scenarios.
It's fine that the MC keeps the first fiance as she from a powerful family, but why not call off the second marriage? Especially when everyone in the family hates you, the family is much weaker then you, and they massively disrespect you in your first meeting.
This is exemplified when the second fiance tells the MC point blank, in front of her father, that she wants to kill the MC. This would be the perfect opportunity to annul the marriage. Instead the MC just stares at her and moves on.
In the same chapter, the same fiance assaults the MC, trying to kill him. Instead of fighting back or, once again, annulling the marriage the MC just kisses her and leaves. Why? What is so important about these marriages that the MC can't just call off the ones he doesn't want to deal with? The answer is, most likely going to be, because the original plot had them happen, and the MC doesn't want to change the original plot too much, apart from the parts where he's a villain and he dies which were integral to the plot. It makes no sense.
TLDR: Everyone always talks about how much they hate and fear the MC then they spit in his face, and the MC will just nod and go along with it.
