I went into this book out of boredom and didn’t expect much, but it really surprised me.
I really like the main character. He seems like a good person, which is honestly hard to find in these kinds of books and fanfictions. He uses the knowledge from his old world to his advantage, but he doesn’t manipulate people to do his bidding like many characters in GoT fanfics tend to do.
I also love the more magical world you’re building. The MC’s physical strength and possibly other gifts he has, really make this story feel fresh and different.
I’m really enjoying it and looking forward to more.

I am a sucker for ASOIAF fan fiction. This one seems excellent. I don’t know where is going yet but so far so good. Hopefully it doesn’t bite me later but it’s a unique starting point at an exciting time in Westeros. So long as the author makes sure to have their OC actually impact the story line, we will all be rewarded with a great story.

I think I've enjoyed this fan-fic because the really Knight of the Seven Kingdoms start. Who doesn't want to be a knight, to ride for glory, to be skilled at arms. When I'm reading a fan fic I often ask does the author get why the initial work was popular, and I think this one nails the knightly attitude that so enthralled me when I was 9 initially reading game of thrones.
