The Titan of Tarth (GOT/ASOIAF) (SI/OC)
Self-Published
Community Rating
Description
Galladon Tarth lives through childhood, but another has taken his place. To protect his new family from the dangers of this world, he will have to forge his own legend. Starts before Robert’s Rebellion. Slight AU - leaning a little into the overpoweredness of single fighters that we see glimpses of in the books, where people like Arthur Dayne, prime Robert Baratheon, Jaime Lannister, Barrister Selmy, the Cleganes, Daemon Blackfyre, etc are said to be worth dozens of common soldiers. Expect: fighting, politics, adventure, war, kingdom-building, etc

- BlindCentaurRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I really really like how the characters have depth and mysticism around them. So far, this story is making justice to the master piece that is ASOIAF. Also, I really liked that the MC is not just a invented character or any main character from a main house as well. It gives a realistic and struggling background for the MC
- Boop_01Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I went into this book out of boredom and didn’t expect much, but it really surprised me.
I really like the main character. He seems like a good person, which is honestly hard to find in these kinds of books and fanfictions. He uses the knowledge from his old world to his advantage, but he doesn’t manipulate people to do his bidding like many characters in GoT fanfics tend to do.
I also love the more magical world you’re building. The MC’s physical strength and possibly other gifts he has, really make this story feel fresh and different.
I’m really enjoying it and looking forward to more. - Elodin97Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Excellent. The prose, the story, the character development. Fan fiction or not, this is one of the better stories I’ve read on royal road, and I’ve read quite a few. I was already a fan of ASOIAF and I’ve decided this is now canon. I’ll be reading to the end.
- bnazRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am a sucker for ASOIAF fan fiction. This one seems excellent. I don’t know where is going yet but so far so good. Hopefully it doesn’t bite me later but it’s a unique starting point at an exciting time in Westeros. So long as the author makes sure to have their OC actually impact the story line, we will all be rewarded with a great story.
- JackpebsRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I think I've enjoyed this fan-fic because the really Knight of the Seven Kingdoms start. Who doesn't want to be a knight, to ride for glory, to be skilled at arms. When I'm reading a fan fic I often ask does the author get why the initial work was popular, and I think this one nails the knightly attitude that so enthralled me when I was 9 initially reading game of thrones.
