The Shadow Keeper

Drew Recler is a young agent who is searching for a case that will prove himself worthy of being an agent. He overhears a case about a search for a young girl, the granddaughter of the man who created so much destruction in the U.S. The man is called the Formulator, and he tried to recreate extinct animals. In the attempt, he bred beasts that turned out to be monsters. Before they could escape his lab, he found out that they could not be killed by a sword or a gun. So he created an infection that was supposed to be able to only be caught by those beasts. But it did not kill them. They escaped, and so did the infection. A hundred years later, the monsters are gone. No one remembers how, only that the government stated that they were, "contained". But the disease has since then spread, and is attainable by humans. The U.S. is slowly fading, every American dying off, and terrorists filling the country. The agency he is working for is looking for an agent who can take up the search for the lost granddaughter of the Formulator. Drew is so intrigued that he ends up stealing the information and running off, taking the entire case up himself.

Join him and a girl named Leanna as they go on a quest to save America from the economic disease, and escape the jaws of the hungry beasts who are looking to catch only one person.
