- KniteDadRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Very good story about the rise of a Runic Blacksmith, who ran from his noble birth only to be confronted by the world of nobles once again. Truly an original, creative story with magic, dungeons and a rise to fame, even after throwing off the shackles of nobility. I love the fun, story twists and outright surprises in this magical adventure. Edit: (This story has not disappointed in the least, while I wish for content released faster, I would not want to dilute the amazing quality of imagination and writing being provided! I had to up my review to a full 5 stars because this isn't just another RPG story, but one that is well thought out and engaging!) I hope other readers take the time enjoy this author and his books! They are well worth the read!

The Caracters are well balanced and the fact that he is a Runesmith and not an Hero summoned in another World is a new Approach. Truckkun is also here.
- AvidpotatoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I have loved this series. It’s done a very good job of refocusing through the different arcs of the story. My favourite sections have been the early Albrook settling and the Robert lúcele rescue. Roland has a very well defined flaws and it has been showing foreshadowing on how these will cause more problems in the future for himself. While also skillfully developing him above his fear of others. Anyways might re read again I am looking forward to the upcoming training/development that seems to be upcoming.
- DalerinoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0For any who wish to read this I would say that it is a spectacular epic, that slowly builds (and really just logically builds) to an MC who wants a haven for themselves and their loved ones. With action. progression and intrigue along the way!My second favourite story on RR after the stubborn skillgrinder.Which fyi means its in my top ten books of all time. (Terry pratchett not included)STLYE SCORE:I didn't like the slow beginning, but it does work for this story (I think(I have no notes as to how to speed it up)) I just really like that the MC actually seems to be the same person the whole way through;Who grows and either rolls with the punches or blocks for a counter and actually thinks things through.(Tier 3 ascension was super long though (for me))STORY SCORE:fantastic, no notesOverall feels like the MC has a continuous goal that is both reached per tier/ class level; And leaves more room to growGRAMMAR SCORE:This author is putting out a lot of chapters so, um, you're very skilled at making an engaging and well written story that I enjoy. If you want help proof reading things I have many notes. But only about the phrasing not about the content. Really good content.Feels like you've been using spellchecker to get real words not the correct words!CHARACTER SCORE:11/10 no notes
- DarkerBindingRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Ok, I'll say it in one word... Addictive! Well it won't let me say it in one word obviously but how do I say addictive in 200 words? This story has made me abandon all my other stories 🥺I like the litrpg style stories which is a bit of a surprise to me. Maybe it shouldn't be. I was a gen 1 DnD player, when churches were declaring is all "devil worshippers".
- DrizzitRRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Great all around, solid world building. No easy system, or short cuts. Great story line as well. One of the best I've read. A matter of time until this will be picked up by Audible, read it while you can.I hope he will continue for a long time. Thanks
- BlackBurnStarRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a story meant to be savored over a long period of time. It is rather slow paced, but gets interesting after like 60+ chapters in. Personally, I think it's kind of annoying having to read how theoretical alloys are being made and used. As well as how one would make a theoretical magic OS. Sure, som words are being thrown around like program, circuts, and conductors. But if you know anything about engineering, the explanation feels very shallow at times.Updated review at chapter 313:My favorite thing about this story is how the main characther thinks through his options before executing them. I think this reflects how the author of this story is being more methodical about his planning of the story, before writing it. I see time, and time again how an author starts writing a story, but haven't really thought further ahead than about 10 chapters. This story is definetly a slow burner, but I don't think there is anything wrong about that. The writing feels more refined now than at the start of the story.Other than that, the story is a great timewaster. No major misspellings. 4/5 stars.Updated review at chapter 422:Still a great story, the misspellings have gotten fewer, and it's still interesting. Now that the main character has gotten powerful, the story seems a bit more fun to me. Still a great timewaster, 5/5 stars. On par with Andur's stories.
- GabryelRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I thoroughly enjoyed reading this so far. The world building and attention to detail when developing the magic system is really on point. The characters are fleshed out well and the journey of the protagonist is kept at a nice pace. Not to short, not too drwan out.Keep it up!
- JOC1994Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0I genuinely believe this is one of the best series on Royal Road—though, of course, everyone has their own taste.
The story begins with the main character as a child, and what really stands out is how deliberately and methodically he builds himself up. I’m not a fan of the overly jovial, “power of friendship,” Ash Ketchum–style protagonists. Instead, this MC carries a far more restrained, grounded personality—closer to a Sung Jin-Woo type. Some readers might call that bland, but to me it feels realistic. It aligns perfectly with how I imagine a grown man’s mindset would manifest if trapped in a child’s body: cautious, observant, and purposeful rather than wide-eyed and naïve.
While his growth is undeniably fast by the standards of his world, even 600 chapters in, I still wouldn’t classify him as overpowered. His strength feels earned rather than handed out, which keeps the tension intact.
The town-building aspect is another highlight. I’d love to see a chapter from the perspective of an immigrant or outsider touring the city for the first time—those moments of discovery feel almost mandatory in great world-building stories.
With everything still left unexplored, this series easily has 1,000-chapter potential. There’s so much depth remaining, and I’m excited to see where it goes. - LunaticOverSouLRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Thanks for author, reallly luv ur story. I read it for along time, since it created.
