I went into it thinking I'd find the story interesting so I'd read one or two chapters before getting on with things I needed to do with my day... But constantly had that just one more feeling and kept reading.
The descriptions are written in a way I can picture vividly in my mind which I love and the characters so far are intriguing and distinctly them in terms of personality and speech.
I'm really enjoying the dual POV and the way things are hinted at. I have a lot of questions I'm curious about and excited to read further to learn the answers.

This isn't finished yet, but I greatly enjoyed the story and the well-written descriptions of the two POV characters. A delightfully schloky and indulgent (presumably) sapphic romance between two ladies with plenty of angst, drama, and yearning. The author has a good grasp of prose and emotion, and she's successfully hooked me into wanting to see what happens next in the romance and pirate shenanigans.

I came for the yuri; I stayed for the characters, setting, and lovely prose... and also the yuri.
You've got age-of-sail pirates; you've got lesbians; what more could you ask for? Turns out, quite a lot.
The two main characters are a swashbuckling pirate captainess and a woman she rescued from drowning, who has absolutely no shared history with the captain and definitely does not have supernatural powers. (The yearning is intense and delicious!)
The setting is a departure from the usual Royal Road fare. Life is harsh aboard a pirate sailing vessel, and the characters must be harsh in turn to survive. Still, there's a delightful sense of loyalty and camaraderie among the crew, and the setting and plot do a wonderful job of driving conflict and character motivations.
The story is exceptionally well-executed. The prose flows nicely, the characters act and react in ways that make them feel real, and nothing jars me out of the experience of reading.
As a bonus:
There's a dragon, too! I don't often see dragons and pirates together, possibly because of weight limits on age-of-sail vessels.
I've had a good time, and I want more!

This story has me obsessed the edge of my seat every time I pull up a new chapter. Just think: a gorgeous runaway meets a pirate queen, both recalling each other from a past life and having to navigate wild seas, strange beasts, and each other. What could go wrong?
I truly love this writing - top notch, excellent grammar, and the action scenes really keep me on my toes. But more than anything I love that these are women that get to be women, not some weird bro concept about what it's like to be a woman dating women. It's so refreshing, and so REAL, even amidst all the fantasy.
Highly recommend if you like your pirates spicy, your boats in trouble, and your dragons dragon-y.

I love how fast-paced this story is while still remaining such a tease. The world-building (so far) has happened gradually--enough to set the scene without keeping the story from progressing.
The two main characters are intriguing and I can't wait to learn more of their backstories. The author does an amazing job weaving in clues to their backstories that hint at the broader plot and make me want to keep reading.

The imagery is beautiful, the main characters really pull you in but I also have gotten invested in some of the side characters as well. I’m hooked and can’t wait to read more of this!
