Description

Blair Corbin finds herself whisked away from her first-ever job interview and to say she’s confused is an understatement. However, she’s a realist. If something has happened, it has happened. She has to live with its repercussions, and Blair now finds herself in a concrete jungle where people are more than willing to throw each other under the bus and beasts roam the streets.

In a world where electricity has disappeared and everything has collapsed, she struggles to find her place among the survivors. She has no skills that are of use to this new community. After all, what use is a programmer when there aren’t any devices to run her code?

That's when she realizes that she's good at killing things.

Tread carefully. Despite what the Cover may say, the Protagonist will not get a hold of a trident for a good while. Those things are like mid-game weapons, you know?

Style – The story starts off slow – but that’s how it should be. You can’t build up a power creep starting with a ton of power, plus the author straight up tells us that’s how it’s going to be in the bio. Good planning.
Story – Post-Apocalyptic isn’t a new genre, and can definitely feel worn out at times, but this work makes it feel fresh. Maybe its just the quality of the work, but it reads much better than the run-of-the-mill types of stories that I’ve seen on this site.
Grammar – No story is ‘perfectly’ written, but what few errors I’ve seen in passing through are very minor nitpicks that aren’t worth pointing out in a review. I’ve read far too many unreadable stories to take it out on one that’s consistently good overall.
Character - Blair feels very human, which is a quality I like in my MCs. Although there aren’t many examples of character interactions to base it off of since this story is still fairly new, what I’ve read so far is promising and I’m looking forward to seeing how her relationships with the other characters develop in the future.
Overall – Good story. Do read. Want Trident.

Overall, a solid-system LitRPG. First and foremost, grammar and style are spot on. Easy to digest, easy to read. The over all story is an absolute breeze to get through.
As for the content, it's standard. The system and spells put in place aren't exactly unique in my opinion, but they service the story. The story is also very familiar, but I'd argue that it helps readers know what to expect.
Characters are well written. Blair is particularly relatable as she goes through the tutorial. As of writing, there's nothing that comes across or forced.
Recommended to anyone who enjoys the genre.

Blair with her intriguing personality was the main draw for me.  Initially she was just the perfectionistic introvert, but over the course of the story she started to reveal other aspects of her disposition.
The initial introduction and the slow reveal of the system struck a nice balance without getting heavy on the exposition.  Finding out the things the system changed was even a delight.  Maybe it just reminded me of the card games I used to play.
Aside from a few awkward sentences, the prose doesn't detract from reading, and the only issue I am left with is wanting more chapters.

Like, the first four chapters feel like more of a set-up for the rest of the story than anything. Not the worst format in the world but made it hard for me to get a good look at the plot. From an starting point, I would sat the set-ups feel well-made. Plenty of promise for the future. System also looks kinda fun, though more points on it needs to be explained to make sense. Grammar is fine as well.

Style-flows well, you can always tell what's happening. No complaints
Grammar-No errors that I noticed. I'm low-key jealous of this editor(If you have one).
Story-It's not super innovative, but it does its premise well and it has that juicy litRPG goodness where you can't stop reading, so no complaints from me.
Characters-The main character makes sense, she is a little weak stomached compared to your usual litRPG protagonist, but overall okay(the social awkwardness is kind of annoying though). The side characters are(as of now) a little underdeveloped, and it doesn't create any real emotion for me to see them die
Except for that one ration-stealing lil ****, her death would bring me great joy.(please make your future villains as evil as that *****.
, they are just breaks from the aforementioned litRPG goodness.
Overall-would recommend for any fans of the litRPG genre(everyone on this site). I know I have it bookmarked, and I'm hoping it hits the top of rising stars at some point.
anyway I think this should be 200 words(please?) Your mother? [insert insightful and funny comment here]? Somebody save me please I need help I'm trapped in this basement and forced to write advanced reviews or the mods will kill my family
