The Mine

A child descends into a mine mined by slaves, some of which are dysfunctional , guarded by guards, all of which are dysfunctional .  The child is dysfunctional.  She heals a bit over time, but mostly stays a bit dysfunctional.  She is surrounded by some of the most dysfunctional individuals in the whole dysfunctional place.  This is the story of a dysfunctional child raised by the dysfunctional and striving to find something not quite so . . . dysfunctional.  Will she succeed?  Only time will tell, but the cards are definitely stacked against her.
