Description

Death, the one true guarantee, the uncertain certainty, the ultimate end. Or at least that’s what Liam thought until his life came to an abrupt end. He definitely didn’t think that his death would lead to some fantasy-world forest, armed with nothing but the clothes on his back, a character sheet, and a wicked smile.

Liam finds himself in a world that plays by a different set of rules. Where the source of power is born from the very beasts that overrun the land. A power called the monster gene which gives this world's inhabitants extraordinary gifts (and curses). And Liam finds out he might have the strangest of all. The mimic, equipped with the ability to mimic creatures and objects alike.Follow Liam as not only struggles with surviving this world, but also his own purpose in this life. Oh, and monsters, a whole bunch of those.

Expectations (Everyone loves these):

A progression isekai fantasy adventure.

A character focused journey.

A unique monster themed power system.

This novel is so much fun. It has action, adventure and lots of fun. Sometimes the MC seems a little silly but remember Liam is from modern day earth. The world building is awesome.  The supporting characters are developed in a believable way. Some characters you will love and some you will hate. They can also captivate the reader's emotions. I'm thinking green right now. LOL. There is likewise a deep mystery to this world. I'm on the 74th chapter, and I'm enjoying the journey forward with Liam as he tackles being the Mimic.

This is a lighthearted story of a mimic learning to level. The system is real and well defined, with plenty of stats and features to analyze and enjoy. From the get go, we can see that this story isn't going to take everything too seriously, while at the same time we see there's a system here with a lot of thought behind it. The contrast is enjoyable and improves both sides of the story - from stats and passive abilities to a tsundere tutorial, it really holds a good sense of balance.

I've seen this with a lot of books recently and there is nothing bad about the book. The Premise and world itself is great! The problem is that when i was 50CH's in and only about 30 were from the POV of the supposed MC, most of those occurring in the starting chapters, it just makes it quite frustrating. The first 20 or so CH's are from the MC's POV and because of that you get really entrenched in the story as it relates to the MC. Having other POV's occasionally is fine, but when the MC is treated as though he is a Side-Character and the Side-Character's are treated like they are the MC the the story loses the fun aspect of reading

It's seems to be a common trending in litrpg story or royal road story in general. A mc with no personal goal except survival or being stronger.
You got to understand nobody believe the main character will die.
And strength is relevant when it serve a purpose. Be it prospect a love one or even kill a demon lord.
Another thing , the multi POV kill the immersion.  And the level gain from the main character seem artificial He low level but kill more monster than the high level. It not unique as an issue it just mean you world system is unbalanced. You may say it a slow burn but then I am asking you then... Where are you leading us with your story dear author. Cuz after more than 50 chapter I don't have a clue.
Like the way you use the mimic powers tho specialty the mental influence.

Interesting story. MC is rather decent when he actually gets time in the story. Generally skim/skip chapters with other characters as the pov. There is way to much of jumping to other characters. Will continue to read and hope the author can chill on the jumping pov.
For the character limit only blah blah blah blah blah ha hi he ho you man teeth short more tool
