Norman is boring. Really boring. He spends most of his waking hours at work, doing the most monotonous work imaginable. His favorite book is The Dictionary, and his favorite movie is a silent documentary about granite.

The most memorable part of his life was probably that one vacation when he went to the fence museum. Alone, of course. He is such a dull human being that talking to him brings about the same amount of enjoyment as watching paint dry.

Yes, Norman is boring.

What if such a boring man was transported into a world full of swords and magic with the assistance of a sentient system and rare magical powers?

He starts accounting, of course.Oh, and he starts the world's most profitable caravan and merchant empire, but that's not as interesting as accounting.

Going to keep this short. I love it. I love Norman's character most, just an average guy, no overpowered abilities or grand quests just a guy living as he always has. The other characters are done well which makes it easier to visualize the whole thing. I also quite love the worldbuilding and the slow pace (which is a first for me). I don't have any criticism as of right now but maybe it will change,idk.
Don't know how to put everything else into words but the gist of it is, the story is awesome. Highly recommend. Easy 5 stars.

His interactions with every character are so real. Nothing he does feels disingenuous to his character. Every choice is made with his unique pragmatic yet good aligned mindset at the forefront.
The real star of the show however is Pail. It is tragic that we lost out on his angel rebirth story. This character might be a turn off to some people. It feels illogical that someone with his backstory could possibly be like him, but it works. He interacts with the world like I wish I could. Full volume, no mystique, absolutely living according to his whimsical nature. He is a force of nature and I adore it.
Satellite, I hope you keep writing. This story is wonderful, and I can’t wait to see where you take it.

It might not be wholly up to Terry Pratchett level, but it has been close so far as I have been reading. Just had to write a quick review when I realized this had so few reviews written for it.

As a fairly boring Norman myself (though not nearly to the point of the one in the story), I must say that this story lives up to its cozy tag quite well.
As of this review, there has been no trading. The MC recently started making a couple of mid—and high-end products and selling them. Though it does seem that the trading will be happening soon, it hasn't actually happened yet.
I am enjoying the story and look forward to where it goes from here.

Loving this story so far. I always can’t wait to see what direction it will go next as with Norman’s personality of misreading everyone social cues it always leads to a hilarious situation. Norman is one of those odd oblivious main characters that just stumbles around and somehow it always works out for him and those surrounding him.

I like slice of life, adventure, raising kids stories and this is perfect but not one without flaws.
First of all, I kinda tired of system isekai and their cheats. It feels lazy writing to me coz it takes all the supposed growth progression from the MC. Also the system here is sentient just like another npc, which is a flaw in my opinion as it takes away the usual mysteriousness of cosmic omnipotent entity.
Next, I don"t want to be rude but I'm a straight male, the subtle homo inserts is making my reading experience uncomfortable. It's a good story so far but if the author plan to fully embrace this topic further in the future then I'm afraid I need to drop here. It's a good story but it's not for everyone.

I will be drooping this novel, bc is no quite my taste... I'm like more a adventurers novel guy, but this novel is not bad, I particularly think is kind confusing somethings like the swich of pov per paragraph or the plancing and pacing of things happening( i don't know if is bc the author is new and stuff or im just stupid ), but the novel is not bad, i recommend if you are a slow life type of guy or gal 😉
