Description
What would you do when you find yourself waking up as one of the heroines a JRPG that you used to obsessively play? What if you know almost everything about it and are confident that you can be strong no matter what? What if you know the idenitity of the Hero and know the places of his powerups?
What would you do then? Go out and explore the world?
There are Demons rampaging across it.
Help the people?
They’re not struggling, not really, in fact, it can even be argued that they’re thriving.
Then?.. What about making such a big mistake that it ended up killing the prophesized Hero, but… everything continued even with his death, there are no resets, not here- the world is still there, the Kingdoms are still standing, and now a Demon Horde is about to descend onto them.
Well, now what?

- Ponas NiekasRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Very interesting story about broken girl who wants to fix her mistakes and save the world. Our Protagonist isnt very mentally stable but very strong and not a pushover.
World is interesting and quite unforgiving.
Story a little bit slow but i think thats because its focusing more on character development.
Im not native English-speaking and not best at it, but had no issues with grammar at all. - tyrusRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I don't often read stories I see in the latest updates section, but I this one caught my eye and I was pleasently surprised. The charecters are interesting, the worldbuilding is well integrated, and I like the magic system.
Words words words words words words words words words words words words words words words - vladeragRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I have to admit being a sucker for characters with trauma. That our isekai'd protagonist's trauma comes from her literally sending the Hero of the story to die and being stuck cleaning up the consequences just makes it more interesting. I have to confess that it isn't a concept I have seen before, which already makes it stand out.
Another thing that stands out is the setting itself. Most readers are, at this point, likely familiar with the "grimdark" genre. What many might not be aware of is that grimdark is one of four related genres: grimdark, grimbright, nobledark, and noblebright. I bring this up because this story is a wonderful example of the Grimbright genre. Skipping most of the details, a grimbright story is one where the world is almost dystopic, but the characters can, through their own efforts, make the world a better place. (contrast to a grimdark like the 40k universe, where no amount of effort can actually improve anything on a substantial scale)
We join the story years after the Hero has died following our protagonist, Princess Neophyte and her attempts to redeem herself for causing his death. The world is under siege by demons (isekai standard, of course) and humanity is losing - but that undersells it. Neophyte has been isekai'd into a game she played before, and she knows that the world will end in roughly 20 to 30 years. Everyone is going to die and it is her fault because she killed the hero, unless she can do something to change that fate.
This story has, as of chapter thirty-six, set up a lot of ideas. The potential interactions and consequences have me excited to learn more. Even the girl love, harem, romance is interesting because it is going to smack right up against the trauma and self hate of our protagonist (and her insistence that she isn't gay, although who knows? maybe she isn't) and the drama that comes from all of this is going to be fascinating especially when she finally does accept and it clashes with her need, as a r - EiferRoyal Road★★★ 3.0The story is generally pretty good and I enjoy the premise quite a lot.
The MC makes it really difficult to sink into the story and enjoy it due to her being overly anxious, dense and her lack of confidence. The amount of secondhand anxiety you get exposed to just isn't enjoyable.
Coupled with the lack of explanation and emphasis on pretty notable things that just *happen* from one chapter to the next, and overly long PoV switches, it's really confusing to keep track of events.
One example here in spoiler
The MC's dragon companion gets a humanoid form, after a big fight. Somehow. You don't get told how, why or when. It's just kinda squeezed in there as an afterthought.
all of the above on top of poor grammar and sentence structures - the author uses grammarly, but that only catches wrong spellings and not wrong words out of context - sadly makes the story miss it's potential.
