The writing is solid, the characters are compelling and the overall plot is gripping. But after the first arc everything starts going far too quickly. It feels like the author had a full story in mind but decided to compress it down into 20% of the word count. As a result the ending falls rather flat because there is never enough time to process all the events that keep happening.
I hope Goblin Sage keeps writing and tries again with a slower pace next time.

Its solid but needs some work. Its very fast-almost rush paced, jumping from set piece to set piece with very little in between. The world does not feel too built, atleast as far as I have read, how does the system work? How do people interact with it? Where is this story taking place? Beyond the names of a few major locations this story seems to lack alot of substance, and does not have enough style to cover it. It is, however, a good first work, with a followable plotline-if rather abrupt. Read up to chapter 26-27 if you want to give it a full try, as
We learn the main character is not who they claim to be- which while you can guess somthing is going on from chapter one, still feels under foreshadowed, it takes a mage smashing in, doing some vauge threatening, and all of a sudden they spill all the beans
However, it is perfectly understandable if you do not wish to give this one a try, if you like generic litrpg, its not bad, the gore warnings might be overdone, though it is nice to consider it.
To wrap it up, not a bad atempt, falls a bit short on execution, prehaps send this one back to the chef to get a bit more meat added, its all bread so far.
