Description

I died to an idiot driving too fast. It is as simple as that. Though, that is not where my story ends, but where it begins. I was given a choice, and I chose to be reborn in another world. One filled with magic, monsters and spirits.

I go on to save damsels in distress and add them to my harem. Unite the fractured lands and gain powerful items to help strengthen me, making contracts with rare and powerful spirits for more power. I travel forth to adventure the world and slay the Demon King and stop his tyranical rule. I become hailed as the Hero, and carved into history for all to remember.

Or so I think it should have happened. In reality, real life crushes your expectations without a lick of mercy.

What is this story?

Think the most generic, Litrpg story you can come up with, with no real plotline and flat, cardboard cut out characters. No mystery or anything of intrest here. Not at all. Nope, nothing here. It is the most cringy, unoriginal thing I can come up with, and all for you to not read!

Schedule!

As I am working on another story, my focus is not on this one. This is more of a side project that I will write chapters for every once and awhile to get my writer's gears working again, so that I can contuine working onKatra. Therefore, I cannot put a solid schedule down and won't till my other story is complete. If you like(or dislike) this amazing original story of action- *coughs* sorry, sorry, stale, unoriginal, cardboard cut out of a story, you might like my other one!

Just so ya'll know, and to clarify,This is the most unorignal (as close as I can get so that I can keep the original tag), stale, super rare overpowered classed MC, Litrpg story that ever was. The sterotypes and cliches are strong with this one. *Crosses fingers behind back*

I will update my review once the first arc is complete, but i think this is a really good story ! The worldbuilding is cool and it doesn't feel forced down on me. The main character is very interesting, i can't wait to see more of him. I like that the author showcased some character flaws for him in chapter 4. The best part to me is the form of the novel. I read alot and usually i don't like when the chapters or stories are too short, but with Djinn the author knows how to condense the story into such a compact yet easy to follow form, it's very magical. The poems in the beginning of each chapter are icing on the cake for me.

With only two chapters out at the moment, this is an early review. So far i like the direction the story is going, the mystery element really drew me in and had me asking questions almost immediately. Despite the lack of dialogue in the first chapter, it was still an entertaining read because of the simplicity of the descriptions and how "short" it was. I also like how there's no long exposition on the main character and his background: we get straight into it and the author doesn't treat the reader like an idiot, allowing us to form an opinion based on the tidbits of info we get on the character here and there, througout the two first chapters.

The start felt a bit clunky. I can't quite put my finger on it but it was a drag to get through.
The dialogue was intriguing. On the edge between preachy and respectful, it felt vaguely impressive. There was balance through disbalance between the Djinn and the corpse carrier. With the Djinn being much more knowledgeable among other things, yet the corpse carrier was portrayed as wise in his own way.
The insinutations that the Djinn was some knind of trickster helped the story, but I didn't quite get it.
