Description

The world is broken.

The apocalypse came and went, and only a fragment of humanity is left, scrambled into an unrecognizable mess. The remainders of the earth are filled with monsters from imagination and worse. Gates open periodically, leading to alien worlds, while dungeons form from damaged minds, creating nightmares for the unsuspecting.

Some might see it as the end times. A hellscape. A story of humans pushed to their breaking points, desperately grasping for the last bits of humanity as the world crumbles around them.

But a few might disagree.

One man, in particular, sees opportunity. A chance. A path forward, to bring humanity from the depths of despair and turn it into a victory - a luxury. To remake the world even better than it was, dragging earth forward onto the galactic stage.

It will require violence, lies, betrayals, magic, more violence, and the occasional genocide.

But, hey. Everything worth doing is hard, right?

It's well written. Ghotty has a real gift of making characters come to life. They seem very real and unique and it's easy to immerse yourself. This story is not for me, personally. When the author says "villainous lead" he means it. The mc starts off clearly as a bad dude. Fair warning. I was very surprised by an...incident right in the begining and it sets a tone of "this is not a good person". However, as has been mentioned, there is a tag for it.
TL;DR : good writing, well written characters, villain tag is not a joke

It's well written. The characters feel like people. it had an really intriguing story, It's very mysterious and that is what drags me into this wonderful novel. the mc has an an shitty personality but that is what makes him thrive in the new world.
overall the novel is very good but it's sadly abandoned and will probably never be touched again be the author.

Usually I wouldn't leave a review at this stage because there hasn't really happened enough to properly judge it. The only reason I'm doing it anyway is to help provide some much needed motivation for the author to keep writing. And yes, I created this account solely for that purpose.
But lets get to the book. The apocalypse setting, although somewhat generic is very well done. No numbers, no litrpg and no chosen one bullshit. (Not that I dislike those things per se, they are just overused) The whole world is very vivid or as the germans would say, Kopfkino. The MC has a personality. A pretty shitty one, but thats exactly what makes him so intriguing. The others aren't fleshed out all that well, however thats to be expected in such a short story.
Okay I just found out I really suck at reviews so I'm going to make this short. This book is a diamond in the raw. The setting, the character, all of this reeks of genuine talent. Honestly I don't expect it to be picked up again, but at least I've tried.
