The escape

Description
Humanity in the distant future has spread far and wide, and a new planet awaits them. Attempts for colonization begin, and through the whims of interplanetary politics, an industrial world is given the opportunity to supply the colonists. Three teenagers are recruited into the program. Adlai, Averi and Shawna are trained and sent to a new world, but the ship crashes. The three must survive a hostile and alien environment.
The Hunter watches the intruders crash into its home, and an opportunity for new fun begins. Picking off the stranded colonists one by one, it revels in its sick game. When it sees a group of three, it decides to follow them. The longer it can keep them alive, the more they can scream.
This is a work in progress, and my first attempt in writing a novel. I do leave notes on where I would like to edit certain things, but for now my goal is to simply finish this story that has been in my head for a long time.

All truth be told, I'm not a huge sci-fi consumer. Other than "The Expanse" by James S. A. Corey which I read avidly, I generally stick to fantasy and short stories. With that said, in any genre, this story from Albert The Mite would kick ass. The prose is clear, concise, and enjoyable to read. The story is well thought out and keeps your interest. The highlight of this fiction for me however is the characters, which shine from the start and don't lose their vigor.
I genuinely believe that the only reason it's not more popular on RR is because of the genre tastes of the platform.
Story Score (5/5):
Getting in to the fiction itself. This sci-fi tale follows three main characters, Adlai (the protagonist), Averi (the deutragonist), and Shawna. They grow up in a vividly depicted post-industrial, every-man-for-themself era Earth.
Averi and Adlai are struggling to make ends meet in the daily slough that it is their lives when they come across the opportunity to become a part of a program that sends colonists to other planets for research and habitation. No more spoilers, but it's a wild ride!
Style Score (5/5):
Albert utilizes clear, descriptive prose in good proportion to realistic, nuanced and revealing dialogue. He seamlessly describes the environment and backstory of the characters through flashbacks, and hints at their relationships with each other, perceptions of the world, and their personalities in general with masterful ease. The chapters read neither slow nor fast, they're a happy medium that keeps you immersed and entertained.
Grammar Score (4.5/5):
Overall the grammar is great. There are some minor errors, but "The Escape" is a cut above the Royal Road stock in the grammar regard, and the errors that exist are nothing that would detract from the reader's experience of the fiction.
Character Score (5/5):
Best for last. The characters are what draw me to this story and what keep me engaged. Their relationships feel genuine and authentic, and
