Eighty years ago, opportunistic entrepreneurs from the Pokémon League Association arrived on the tranquil shores of the Apeiron Region and set off a chain reaction that could not be stopped. Hitherto untouched by the march of time and industrialization, Apeiron was dragged into the modern world and exposed to unwelcome new ideas that questioned the way their people bonded with their Pokémon, and what those connections mean.

This is the world in which our heroes live in.
