Description
Soldier. Survivor. Killer. Hunter. Legend.
Hero.
In truth, Jhena Cuuhl was but a drifter, wandering her way across the stars, plying her skills to the highest bidder. Little more than a weapon without a wielder, cutting her way through an uncaring galaxy.
And then everything changed.
A strange message crossing her eyes. The boundary between worlds collapsing. Death and destruction raining from above the skies, deadly creatures spilling out from beneath the ground. A catastrophe engulfing the entire universe.
And so the galaxy turns to her, and places its fate in her hands.
One last mission.
One last chance.
Can one woman save the universe?

- Pinaz993Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Short and punchy, the author doesn't flinch from the truths of so-called 'adventure'. Narrow scope really benefits this story, allowing the it to focus on just what an overpowered main character can do when she has something to fight for.

This is great! Damn I WISH I had read it to the one punch man songs. Oh the bittersweet regret. What can I say? criticism first there are a few style issues with random excessive a paragraph spacing. Not talking about the line breaks but in dialogue. A few other similar style issues I pointed out.
Other than that grammar, characters and story are a blast. Short and bombastic! Why aren't you already reading it? - Evelyn AdelbergRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0There are a few grammatical and stylistic issues with this story, like a lack of verbs in sentences, or a lack of descriptions of the overall setting (what is referred in DnD as the white box syndrome) but overall noting major. It is a very enjoyable story in that regard.
However, the protagonist of this story is very hard, if not impossible to relate to.
There are no stakes established at the start of her first fight, because despite going against those other presumably OP soldiers, she comes out unscratched. That, in combination with the lack of any kind of positive traits, makes it really hard to relate to her.
The part where the MC killed a dragon by herself when even a gunship didn't scratch it completely broke the immersion for me. And the part where her trauma, or inability to bond with people, was not developed enough in my opinion to make up for the all the “end-game maxed-level” stuff she does.
The base premise if this story is fun, and executed well enough. However, I wish the MC had a bit more of a likable personality or at least was a bit less OP.
