If you see this Novel being reposted or resold somewhere, please DM me immediately with a link to the problematic entity. Thank you! Thea has always dreamt of joining the United Human Federation marine corp, ever since she was saved by one of their marines at a young age in the Undercity of Lumiosia. Growing up in an undercity meant however, especially in a mid-world such as Lumiosia, that she would have to work her way up from the very bottom. She would need to leave for one of the inner or core worlds, before she had any chance of applying to the UHF marines, but for that, she needed credits. Having spent a lot of time in the local arcade for many years, she had accumulated a lot of technical knowledge in repairing the old-tech machines, as well as gained a high proficiency in a lot of the simulators and games featured. Preparing for the monthly reset day, in which the ladders for each game get updated by the local quantum node and prizes are distributed for the top performers, she never would have anticipated a brand new challenge appearing from thin air. A challenge which changed the path of her life forever... Current release times: Tuesdays and Fridays at 8pm CEST / 2pm ET / 11am PTDiscord Link:https://discord.gg/rtZGz5RHtq The Allbright System is an Epic Sci-Fi Progression LitRPG, heavily focused on war and the military complex as a whole. It is my first publicly published Webnovel, so I am very much looking forward to read all of your feedback and suggestions. As the name suggests, there will be a System that governs the major progression and LitRPG elements of the story. The main draw of this story will be the way that the System interacts with each faction in the war for the galaxy, as each faction gets a unique system-trait for themselves. The nature of the traits is to be a secret until further on in the story, but rest assured that they fundamentally change the way that war in this galaxy is waged. Before you start reading this story, please be aware that this will not be a short one. I prefer long, expansive stories that span thousands of pages, in order to fully tell the story I intend to tell. The Prologue Arc itself, which culminates in the System integration, will be 21 Chapters long (around 300-350~ pages on RR), so if you are looking for a quick and short read, this story will not be for you. For everyone else, I hope you will enjoy this length journey alongside me. I plan to give readers the option to choose on developments for the story or characters at later stages, where it makes sense, so please look forward to the reader polls at those times. A major inspiration for this Webnovel is Duck_No_Duck's "Digital Marine", which unfortunately has been on a lengthy hiatus. Further inspirations (more minor in scope, mostly regarding the litRPG and System elements) include, but aren't limited to,Azarinth Healerby Rhaegar andBeneath the Dragoneye Moonsby Selkie. Highly recommend you check them all out, if you're enjoying this story!

I could not stop reading it, even when I have a scheduled guild activity - I continued to read during the travel time and lull after battle. I really do like the game mechanics in the book, it is something familiar but exponentially improved. The characters are also very distinctive with their own needs and drive/issues, making them more 3 dimensional and relatable. The world/worlds in the book are well described, even if the worlds in question are creations on a server within a server. They serve very well in being detailed and described in part of the characters skill/ability usage. Environment detail is critical in stealth scenes, else it all just becomes fast travel.

Be careful not to get bogged down in the details, at some point I just start skimming the info dumps.  Don't get to wrapped up in the details and forget to progress the story.  This story will be a long one even if you do some time skips, by the way I approve of skipping those two years.   Beyond that I'm enjoying your story, keep it up.

Before I get into breaking this story down into it's relevant bits for the review, let me just say I love this work.  I usually will wait a few weeks and then binge on multiple chapters at a time. The Albright System has me so hooked that I have a reminder set to check for a new chapter on Tuesdays and Fridays, it is just that good.  Now to get into the advanced review.
Style: This story seems to take a lot of inspiration from Warhammer, and almost feels like a precursor to the Imperium of Man.  That said, while there are grimdark elements, it is not as one dimensional as that setting.  There is humor and light and even hope in the undercity. Arc 1 onward drifts further from the Warhammer feel and truly embraces this unique universe, with an excellent ability to put the emotions of the main character into words, truly immersing the reader in event. Overall the style of the story feels relatable and that helps support everything else. 5/5
Story: This story is very well put together and creatively unique in a genre that tends to be rather bland.  Arc 1 Ch 20 blew my mind with a skill being revealed that was well outside of my expectations in a great way, and it just keeps showcasing LunaWolve's immense creativity.  The beginning few chapters didn't hook me right away, however this story keeps getting better as each chapter passes.  There are times when the story feels slow and gets mired in minor details, which, with the lack of a solid hook at the beginning lost half a point in this category for me.  That said, if you love intricate details on equipment LunaWolve does not disappoint.  Most chapters have a quick pace and action oriented chapters are absolutely amazing.  LunaWolve has a remarkable way of storytelling that truly imparts the tension of the moment the main character is experiencing.  The details presented for this universe makes it feel much bigger than just this story, which I love. 4.5/5
If this was a review of Arc 1 onward, I would give this a 5 out of

I am mightily impressed with the writing and especially editing of this story. As a long time reader of Scl-Fi, my personal collection spans from the 1930's to today of novels, short stories, novella's and periodicals. I appreciate the value of this particular endeavor. This an example of a professionally edited work. Well done.

I just discovered this story by chance, and started it on a whim, as the synopsis didn't led me to think this would be my kind of favourite book at all. Well, I was pretty wrong, and I m happy about that.Thea is a young orphan born in the United Human Federation whose dream is to be a marine corp, but whose limited circumstances won t allow for it. The world building is interesting, the main character Thea engaging, and the storyline keeps drawing you in, getting better instead of more boring as chapters go by. I hope the future holds at least some positive things for Thea as the odds have been stacked against her for too long.I also cross fingers fingers that the story keeps its current vibe without descending into despair and death for all, something that unfortunately is a common thread in too many books to count. I understand some bad things are required for a realistic story, but there should be a limit (for totally depressing and sad things, we have the news). All in all, at this stage ( Arc 1, Chapter 15 ) highly recommended. I look forward to reading more as soon as possible, and to buying the book once it is released. Go for it!

We need more warhammer + vr + litRPG stories imo.Grammar:So I can be quite nitpicky about grammar and prose. I would say, in this case,  the prose IS well done but can be a bit forced and janky at times. The rules of english are being followed a bit too closely is probably the best way of saying it.Characters:The characters in this story are what really do it for me. They are well made, unique enough you can read through a wall of dialogue without a name being said and still follow the conversation ( more than can be said for a lot of stories out there ). the characters have their own lives going on outside of what we see through the MC's eyes. their own wants and feelings that drive them that aren't outright said but you can almost feel it. Definitely one of the best examples of how to write characters out there.Style:I like it. I think this is a point that just comes down to preference at the end of the day, enough said I think.Story:I would almost go as far as to call this story a semi-slice-of-life story. There are arcs n such but, I cannot for the life of me, see a kind of overarching plot. It is a progression fantasy so there is the obvious "get stronger" plotline, however, the story is so character driven that there seems to be no major plotline terminating in some kind of finale... yet. The author has said that the story might take 15 years at it's current rate so maybe I will have to eat my hat ( I have no hat ).  For now, though, It is very much character driven and follows their almost day to day.As a final point:READ THIS STORY IT IS WORTH IT!

When I first started reading the story I couldn't put it down. I had to know what was going on next. Everything about the book has drawn me in. One of the few series that I'd willingly pay for more quality content. All the characters are interesting and the world building is crazy good.

If  you like a story that has great character grow. A universe with really rich lore and depth with plenty of action and a great litrpg system then check this out and enjoy the ride of Thea's life as she becomes a marine and hopefully become a legend among legends.

As some have said Arc 0 is more streamlined and just flows and leads into the starting plot for Arc 1. However that means that Arc 1 has to put more effort into catching up. All the lore leans far more on this being a very long and continuous story. Arc 1 is setting up the base knowledge we'll need to be informed later on in the next several Arcs likely. I love seeing all these small details and the information. Others like what feels like a very in depth system where its all kinda behind the scenes and slowly revealed. However this seems to be different where most of the knowledge is known. so instead of having an unaffiliated character find everything out themselves, they are getting an actual education on all to expect. Perhaps the Author may want to make a Arc 1 lore synopsis for those too snobbish to care to actually read the story information.
While some people prefer the wild card developed in the wild characters, this is basically a character getting the education of a high tier faction.
We get why some would dislike getting the entire system backdrop and setting info dropped at once. its a lot to take in. We just disagree and love seeing all the work the author has already put into establishing the world and enjoy the small stuff like this.

I generally don't like litrpgs. Yet I love this story. Most litrpg uses the text boxes, skills, etc as a crutch, to hide shitty writing or making chapters longer for "free". That is not the case with TAS, Instead its used to enhance the story and characters. And boy, is the story and characters a treat. I've cried and laughed many a times reading through this story. The characters and their emotions feel real, making for fantastic drama and character interactions. Many characters start flawed, but instead of being annoying, the evolve and better themselves, and its so fresh.
Even if you dislike litrpgs, give this one a shot. the characters and story is worth it.
