I fully expect this to be the same as all their other works. Cambrian writes wonderful stories, this one is no exception. The hook is good, the premise enjoyable, and the world deep. It is a fantasy setting with original elements, Cambrian does a good job of letting you learn about the setting instead of monologuing it at you. So far there are only 2 main characters to see the interactions of but can’t wait until it gets further into the story. I look forward to the ending and the journey along the way.

It's well written, you could feel the gut punch happening once the duplicity was discovered and there's interesting world lore being written in each chapter, leaving you hankering for more to discover the mysteries within. Definitely recommended read, especially knowing of Cambrian's previous works. There's also the interesting twist where the usual dynamic of summoned hero beats up Demon King getting turned on its head completely, now the hero must atone and figure out who exactly was it that summoned him and made him commit these atrocities.

I think this story is going places. You have given both of the main characters their own voice so they do seem like very distinct people. Looking forward to more. I'm hoping we get more back story though, as we don't know how Oren went from isekai character to Godkiller. That path should be quite interesting.

Otherwise, very engaging story, with very creative world building and character development without any messy exposition info dumps. Just the right amount of magic too - enough to keep the plot moving along but not so much that the story gets lost. I am eager to see where the tale goes.

Oren is a great MC , he’s smart, stoic and not afraid of using underhanded tactics to get his way but he’s not overly cruel and he does seem like a good person underneath it all
Sophia is a nice contrast to Oren’s character, she’s privileged, “ book smart “ and sheltered.
The flow of the story feels organic with a great start.
